Yes. You can use a WEP password. You can create the WEP password in the settings of your router. Once you save those settings, then any computer that connects to your network wirelessly will have to use the password that was provided through the WEP.

I have typed up some instructions for you.. I have a Linksys WRT54G router, you might have a different one, but the gist of it should be the same.

In the address bar of your browser, type in 192.168.1.1

-then put in your name/pass

-hit the wireless tab

-hit 'wireless security'

-hit the security mode drop box and choose WEP

-make sure default transmit key is selected 1

-make sure Wep Encryption is selected at 64bits 10 hex digits

-now type in the passphrase that you want to encrypt *make it something you will remember*

-now hit generate

-now use Key 1 as the WEP password for any computer that connects to your wireless network.

Also good but WEP can be broken and you need to remember password. Why bother...

I just had a deeeelicious pair. Does anybody here like pairs? Did you know the best pairs are the ones that look like complete crap, but they are actually the best ones to eat. I think we should all get a pair right now and eat it at the same time. Everybody should leave their thoughts on it.
