You all know Stern will never let the Knicks win another lottery.

If he just makes it fair we'll be ok. Just don't mess it against us. We may or may not win, but a top one can help a lot.

This season is all about trading Craw, Zach, Curry, Jeffries and getting rid of Marbury.

Get some draft picks and move on.

Yes, I agree on 12/26/2008, that is now the plan.

You think there is anything else on this team?

Nate, Lee, Chandler and Danillo developing. After that I care zip about them. They have stopped caring. No future on a playoff run with such a flawed team.

Heck, the Yankees offseason has been more interesting than the Knicks lately.

Jefferies is a joke. He doesn't bother to box out Love.

Jefferies is just roaming off McCants, why?

That time out by D'Antoni and him ripping the Knicks was great. The best part of this game, letting them know they are playing like crap.

So much for D'Antoni's system. Lately they have been just another halfcourt team, only more out of control.

This team gave up before the game even started. Season over? Might be all she wrote.... I guess that last moral victory against the Lakers did them in.

When you punctuate a string of games where you didn't even try with getting blown out by the 2nd worst team in the NBA on your home court...you just don't care.

What in the blue hell was that?

The Minnesota Wolves. Coached by Kevin McHale. Lost 13 games in a row. 25th in the league in scoring. They come into our house and bumrush us.

Inexcusable. Absolutely completely ****ing inexcusable. should've gone off on them and he did.

2010 plan upsetting the current players? Trade winds blowing? Who cares you're millionaires...play hard or **** off.

Even Lee and Nate were lame tonight. Once your two most active players give up - it's over.

Yeah. Since the last Milwaukee game, the Knicks have simply been in quitting mode.

I don't mind, since it helps us have a better chance in the draft.

Curry is coming back, which could finally get him out of NY for good. Danillo will be back too, which will be great for we start developing him. Nate, Lee and Chandler are getting played so its all fine.

The rest of the team, don't care.

The franchise has the future on it's mind. Maybe the players have "caught on" to that fact. Either way no excuse. I know these guys are tired, they know it's all about 2010, trade winds are blowing, etc etc etc... but against the Wolves you would have thought those who love to play the game would have been out for blood tonight.

Instead the only blood spilled was by Duhon catching an inadvertant elbow to the skull.

This season, early on, kinda reminded me of when Isiah first took the coaching reigns. We weren't good but we played hard, we won some games, we lost some but were close in those losses, and then they eventually gave up.

Unfortunately....I can't help but think we're at that lynchpin right now... or.. it was.. after the Laker game. And now they're just tumbling down the hill of "who gives a crap".

Ah well, Charlotte on Tuesday? Don't even think about the Nuggets coming in here on Sunday lol... we're getting torched!

BAH!!!! damn knicks pick yourselves up.

Our coach blew up after one play where we allowed a layup Telfair trotting his way to the rim. He proceeds to single out Lee because apparently he blows a defensive assignment. Not sure what this will mean ultimately for Lee, he's playing behind the eight ball. But he's not responsible for the TEAM's overall problem. Our coach can't pick and choose when he wants to make a stand for defense when it isn't part of what we do as a philosophy/rule

Game 1 Cleveland allowed 119pts they shot 53%
Game 2 Detroit allowed 110pts they shot 39%
Game 3 Golden State allowed 125pts they shot 45%
Game 4 Portland allowed 104pts they shot 44%
Game 5 Cleveland allowed 118pts they shot 51%
Game 6 Atlanta allowed 98pts they shot 49%
Game 7 Detroit allowed 92pts they shot 44%
Game 8 Chicago allowed 105pts they shot 47%
Game 9 New Jersey allowed 109pts they shot 54%
Game 10 Sacramento allowed 90pts they shot 37%
Game 11 Pheonix allowed 111pts they shot 45%
Game 12 Lakers allowed 116pts they shot 47%
Game 13 Bucks allowed 105pts they shot 47%
Game 14 Celtics allowed 124pts they shot 66%
Game 15 Wolves allowed 117pts they shot 51%

We're not better defensively no matter what we keep telling ourselves to make us feel good. Yes we know it's about the future but put forth better effort on the other side of the ball from now til then.

The number of points we give up is meaningless in a run & gun style.

The way a 6-8 forward plays defense at the center position is kind of irrelevant too.

Why we drafted a 20 year old Italian kid instead of any of the centers that were on the board is what I'd be asking.

Winning's not the priority I guess. Seems like the players have figured that out.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

It seems the Knicks will always be a work in progress.

I wouldn't give Nate and Lee an offer just trade them away maybe they have value to get young prospects in rookie contracts and yield draft picks.
