Yeah, I don't get why D'Antoni went away from Chandler after missing those two 3s. Is Chandler's leash that short?

I know the Thunder suck but the Knicks offense looks pretty damn good...

I was high on Westbrook but man he can't shoot to save his life.

Same here. I wanted Westbrook at 6. I think his shot will improve, but right now it is damn near atrocious.

Honestly, I never really got the Westbrook hype. I've seen him a fair amount out here in Cali and he never struck me as a lottery pick. Almost sure he's going to be a bust. Not a really skilled b-ball player, just a decent athlete.

Watching him throughout the Pac10 tournament and NCAA tournament, I became enamored with him. You're right, right now he's just an athlete, but he's a very young player and once he develops just a half-decent jumpshot, I think he'll be lethal.

i agree... all he needs is a jumpshot & he'll be a good NBA player... we've seen lotsa guys come into the NBA raw & develop their offensive games as they go... he's definitely got the athletic skills to be a special player.

You know what is so funny. I keep hearing about Weber and Dan D'Antoni but nothing about Herb Williams' role on this team.

[tkf]Swift is a BUM[/tkf]

...and I would concur. Punk ass BUM! Chandler would eff him up. Notice how Zach stepped in right away to stop it.

29/19 for Zach. 29/7 for Craw. 7/8/6 for Duhon. We gotta finish better, but they did what they had to do in the first half and got themselves in a position where they could cruise a bit.

I noticed that too. Herb does not look like he has a role in the staff.

I'm glad they won but you gotta keep your composure. Cruising comes back to haunt you sometimes.

Can someone check when the last time was when we were +3 in the win column?

Jamal & Zach are beginning to look like a helluva 1-2 punch... i think even the most jaded critic of this team has to have noticed this... all we need is a shotblocking intimidator on this team & they could make some noise in the Eastern Conference... still lacking a true franchise guy tho, but Jamal & Zach could be real nice complementary players someday if we ever get one.

The thing about shooting outside shots is that you both live and die by how well your shots are falling.

Herb has now survived 3 Gms and 5 head coaches. His stock doesn't rise or fall. He is the essence of status quo.

Herb has always been a good locker room guy and respected by players as a guy to get advice from. He's not an X's and O's guy and probably not a huge teaching guy, but there's a role for him, I'm sure.

Ugly W but it's good to get it regardless. Still we're not on a level yet where we use the lightswitch. 30 point lead getting cut to 7 is a no-no no matter what level of competition you have.

I'm not sure if you guys saw Coach Pringles' face near the end but he didn't look too pleased.

Either way, 6-3. Sweet.

Knicks need to find a decent shooter to play Q's minutes and a big defender/rebounder to play Malik's minutes. Neither has to be a great player- just be able to fill those roles. If they can get that, they should make a run to the playoffs. Can this combo be obtained by dealing Eddy?

Being a locker room guy is not a role for a coach, that's the role for a role player on the roster.
