No guard penetration hurts a guy like Chandler and Lee. Knick guards can't get inside at all.

definitely, but this is where we lack a true engine for D'Antoni's offense and it shows. we need a guy who can force the pace when the other team tries to impose their own pace. someone like Nash or Mayo, etc.

I don't know about Mayo. He certainly has the speed and is a great scorer, but not so much the playmaker this offense needs out of its point guard.

Plus he's turnover prone.

He's played in a handful of games, give him time to tighten his game. He's already scoring on an elite level. Unlike Rose, Mayo was obtainable. Mayo is cant miss. Wow, we flucked up.

In essence, he went 5th because Minnesota wanted Love the whole time and were more than willing to trade down.

i completely understand why D'Antoni benched them, but this is the kind of game where Marbury and Curry would actually do really well in.

Spurs on an 11-0 run that started in the third quarter. The Spurs have 6 more attempts than us right now, which for us means that we have been taken out of our game.

This sucks...

This is why you need a superstar or two on D'Antoni's system. When defensive minded teams like the Spurs take us out of our game we become a sorry team. A superstar would keep us in the game...

The Spurs could seriously use Crawford, good thing he's the only player playing well and right in front of them.
