Well after finishing my Fosters's the big can I must say Q-brick really sucks ass, Curry is at least trying to play D he had a couple of blocks. Yeah Q-brick really sucks ass. Did I just tell you Q-brick really sucks ass well he does.

No, you didn't tell me but I'd like to hear what you have to say about his brick-rally?

Best part for me was Chandler playing KG. The kid got under KG's skin and you could tell.

Good win. Here's what I saw:

(1) I'm with 4949 - I wanted to see them win that game. The guys have been working hard. They needed it. Big rivalry against the champs. Glad to see they held on.

(2) Q's been horrible but I was glad to see that he's still a good teammate (jumpin' and laughing with the guys after Ewing's dunk, etc..). If he's still in a slump a few weeks into the season, Gallinari's gotta see some of those minutes.

(3) I still can't stand Curry but at least he competed tonight. Blocking shots and putting down some FTs in the 4th Q - I thought I was in the twilight zone for a sec. Sloppy play at times but the guy actually contributed and looked fairly into it.

(4) D'Antoni's a great coach. Guy really knows what he's doing. I like how he pushed guys down the stretch tonight to close out the game (Chandler, Collins, Curry, Ewing Jr.). That'll be good for these guys. He could've went back to Lee, Craw, Marbs, Nate, Randolph down the stretch but he didn't - he pushed those guys to victory, and with that brings confidence and builds trust. I like how he's quickly adjusted to this roster too - didn't take him long at all to find out what this team's best combinations are out there. He's got the great feel for this group of guys, even better than Isiah Thomas and Zeke's the one who put this team together. And I love how he doesn't burn all his time-outs every time an opponent makes a run. We saw it tonight - he just lets the guys play through it which is the right move in so many ways - in his style he's looking for quick scores off the other team's makes and misses anyway (7 secs. or less) so why burn T-Os if you wanna push and get it right back? Also, sometimes when you call quick time-outs on the road it gives the road crowd a chance to go nuts and really rally around their team and it sometimes signals an unintentional mini defeat. I think he understands that you don't need to make a road arena any louder than it needs to be. He didn't even panic with time-outs in the end tonight when Eddie House was going off. Plus it'll always be a benefit to have extra T-Os down the stretch when you need to use them to rest your own players, draw up critical plays in crunch time or to manage the clock --- Excellent T-O management... Guy also works the refs over real good and finally he's got this rag-tag group playing the best defense and teamball I've ever seen them play (which isn't saying too much yet, but still). Real solid coach... I'm very impressed with him.

(5) Mardy Collins can play. I know he had a couple of sloppy TOs out there but I think he's made the team and is actually gonna get some PT. Tonight, couple of bonehead TOs aside, he got to the rim quite a few times which he has a knack for, hit the open man time after time, played good D (had a real nice block early in the 2nd half) and hit a big three to settle the team down during a helter-skelter stretch in the 2nd half. Some may still wanna rip the guy and say he sucks - go ahead, just remember he was the quarterback on the court at the end of a road victory tonight against the champs. That's gotta say something.

(6) Gonna sound crazy but how much you wanna bet that Pat Ewing Jr's put-back dunk over Big Baby tonight just got him a spot on this roster. Malik didn't even play tonight...

Nice win. It wasn't pretty, but it was a win never the less. It was fun to watch the bench routing on and celebrating the reserves in the fourth quarter. Man, basten has some slick outside shooting. Thought it was funny when one of the announcers said "Q-Rich is bound to make one eventually". It'd be nice to have atleast one guy who can hit the outside shot. I'm thinking auditions are almost over. Maybe we'll see a few changes in the starting line up for the next game. Going small with Marburry, Duhon and Robinson certainly gave them someone (Marburry) who wasn't afraid to attack the basket in the third quarter.

Good observations Finestrg & Rookie.

With this kind of offense, we're bound to have a lot of TO's, but 15 wasn't bad at all. They scored enough for Curry and Co. to just simply pull some clutch rebounds down, to keep bastan-bastards from coming from behind. But it got very close there for a moment.

It was sweeter to have the big three in the line-up and to still beat them.

I am very concerned about Q's shooting though. Overall in all four games, he's 14 for 52 (3-19 at that arch). I know he never did recover from his brothers death. He used to be one of the premier 3-pt shooters in the league and I wonder why he can't hit the basket anymore?

The lack of outlside shooting is what still gives Gallo a good shot to eventually make the rotation. He's not gonna be missing as many wide open shots. We really need his shooting.

I haven't seen anything from Cosmic. I hope he was home tonight to record the game

I think his chance will be to take Q's minutes because I don't see him giving up Chandler's at all. Somewhere along the line Q forgot simple basic defense. He rotated off Pierce on three trips down the court. I know that D'Antoni doesn't care about defense but I can't believe even he would call for that. Q doesn't have any speed to recover either.

Q was never a Premier three point shooter. Yes, he made a ton with Phoenix, but he also shot a huge number.

Career .352% is not premier.

Your right. And I stand corrected. For some reason I keep confusing him with someone else and I don't know why I keep thinking he was a premier 3-pointer. .381 was his best year at the 3's in 2001-02. Maybe that's what it was. Good catch.

Our 1st reg season game is against boston isn't it? That will be some game hopefully. Celtics will try to blow us out , like they did the previous years. This win will motivate them like crazy. I don't wanna say it but i almost wish that we didn't win just to get back at them when it really counts, which is what now they are gonna do.

I look at this like the Giants playing the PAtriots during the regular season last year. They almost beat them and gained a lot of confidence and also knowledge about how to play them. Then the Giants beat them in the Super Bowl.

The Knicks win over the Celtics gave our players a lot of confidence and know-how. Especially young guys like Chandler, Nate, Lee. I expect they will be even better during the season opener.
