Every win puts us in a better position to keep dbag isiah. Knowing him he will get an extension for beating the spurs. Then again he got one last year for a non playoff team. I want us to lose every game just to get rid of him/
I want to leave something that's going to stand for a long timeI want to leave a legacy,I want to leave tradition.I want to leave an imprint,a blueprint in terms of how people play, and how they coach and how they respond when they put on the Knick uni.

this team is a 25 win team at best. but this win I wanted simply because I would love to see efforts by balkman and lee(who discovered a little jumper) go rewarded. a win would have done a lot for those two guys.. hell we are still going to lose our games to the bucks and lower teams of the league and still finish high in the lottery, but I just don't want to lose guys like lee and balkman, mentally... they deserve better..

They shouldn't be that down on themselves because it was more about the coach not preparing them for the situation at hand.

well I hope they are taking that mental approach, because I know guys like lee and balkman are probably shaking their heads....

Isiah's post game comments:

"The other night I talked about know how, and tonight they're experience knew how to win basketball games, we'll get there."

"You gotta give the other team some credit too, they came out in the 2nd half and did a lot of things right. We have to continue to do those things for 48 minutes and not 32 or 33, because we seem to do the right things for a period of time, and we stop executing."

This is the same old rhetoric. Who cares what that fool says?
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

"We'll learn and move on."

"The air was kinda popped out of the ballon and you know, I said to the team the thing I admire about SA, that's the reason why their champions. They play every second. They make a mistake, and they stay in it."

Im speechless. I have never seen a team so allergic to winning. Unbelievable. Im going to see replay's of this game in my nightmares.

WHY???? Why do you still care like this???? How can you let your self care this much about a team that is absolutely dead and has been dead all year... Just give up, root for the Lottery... its so much easier!!!!

Some people like me can't root for their teams to lose...maybe if it's the last game of the year with lottery implications...I really don't understand rooting for a team to lose in the middle of the season... To each his own I guess..

As if the games before last game of the yr don't have lottery implications. Should the Miami Heat start doing every thing possible to make the playoffs as the 8th seed? Defining the parameters when it's ok to root for your team to lose and when not to lose is comical at best.

Dude I don't care what you root for...I'm just giving my perspective...I can't root against my team with no clear lottery implication...It's not like Shaq, LeBron or Kobe is entering the draft...U can root all u want against the Knicks..I will never tell you it's not ok...

They do deserve better, TKF. The problem is the environment is just so toxic right now and it shows. Our Knicks are not playing to win. They're playing to not lose. I believe this is the 6th double-digit lead we've choked away in the past month. It's becoming more and more apparent that a new voice is needed and it's long overdue.

This was one of the better losses of the yr if not the best. I hope Dolan was there to see that Finley jumper be busted right in his fat face watching the FRAUDULENT job I SAY UGH continues to do. This has to make Dolan have deep thoughts but then again maybe not the Garden was packed.

Besides we've seen some real low mental states earlier in the yr from these players, who cares. Losses provide INSURANCE. This was the exact kind of loss I was talking about TKF play hard but lose.

And It's not like we're a game back of the Playoffs either. So should the team play for the here and now or the future?

yea, play hard but lose. I just hope this makes guys like lee and balkman give up, but those guys have been hard workers all of their lives, that is how they got to the NBA(not having the most basketball talent)so maybe that doesn't happen. The only thing is that does dolan even realize that we lost because of bad coaching, or will isiah spin this as the spurs being champs and that is a normal thing for them.... I don't know man. If dolan hasn't fired him by now, do you even see it comming anytime this year?

Actually Isiah said something very similar to that in the post game comments. Looks like you're starting to get the hang of how the Isiah spin machine works.

The Purpose is to achieve the highest draft position possible and just because there is no definite Shaq, Lebron, or Kobe doesn't make that purpose any less. We don't have to keep the pick.

Saying there's no Shaq, Lebron, or Kobe is just a terrible excuse for not tanking. That's fine, I'm sure there's a Chris Paul, Ray Allen, Allen Iverson, or Chauncey Billups somewhere in this draft, just like there is every year.

Furthermore, no one knew there was a "Kobe" in the '96 draft, that's why he was drafted 13th.

Perhaps a diamond in the rough ? I'd like to think so.

no it doesn't, nothing does. But it does guarantee that you get a better shot at whomever you want to pick in that draft.

The season is over holfresh have you checked the standings and watched the way we lose games? If we salvage the season and no I'm not talking making the playoffs we know it's not happening what does that do for the team?

would you rather have the 8th pick or 1st pick? Say it's 2005. Shot at Bogut, Deron Williams, Paul, Frye.

I am rooting for the #1 pick.
