That's the problem. Criticizing the Knicks in any way means we're not fans anymore. Or not die-hard fans or whatever. I'm desperate for the team to get good. I'm still waiting for the move that turns the corner. Maybe it's Zach, but I'm skeptical. Point is, the Knicks are a bad team and a worse organization until proven otherwise. People who want happiness and satisfaction from every fan, when the team has put up a combined 89 wins over the past three seasons is going to be sorely disappointed.

As I posted earlier to Nalod. I don't think you are not a fan just not a die hard fan by definition. Every team has both in all sports.

Let's say overpriced. They are over priced compared to what they do for the team.
Look at the Spurs. They just won a championship and are right AT the salary cap.

Back to the topic at hand. It's gonna be good to see Games again in HD. I miss watching the team at the Garden and from what DJ said the Garden got an upgrade . There's nothing like the look of a game at the Garden. I can't wait to be watching Lee and Balkman again. They're so much fun to watch. it seems like they do something exciting ever other play.

Adding Zach to that will be great. Another good rebounder and finisher. just imagine how much more potent we'll be with a Zach, who is a beast, as opposed to Frye in there? Man I can't wait!

That number pushes curry down to top 10 somewhere. That only cuz curry isn't as polished as the rest. Curry the way he is now is probably still top 5 in low post scoring in the whole NBA.

Marbs had a good season last year. He started off bad but he completely revamped his game and was a steady component. Craw was erratic but he still was effective and cold blooded when it counted.

Everyone including haters had an excuse for channing. Fuck channing. He was there when everyone went down. He is the one that said he earned his starting spot. What?!?! Ms - you can't read. I said what I said and I'm not gonna get into that debate cuz its in black and white on what I said about zach and curry and their rank.

Again I don't know why I said anything about top anything cuz I know one of you would have ate it up.

24 players better than craw? A lot of those guys, yeah they are better. There are some guys just as good. There are some guys that don't do what craw does.

Anyway, I hate craw myself! My thing is we are stuck with him cuz there isn't anyone else so much better that the knicks can just go out and get. Craw isn't that bad of a player.

If the team sucks so bad why even post? That is the dumbest **** ever. There are things I can't stand about the team, but the good things are starting to at least balance out.

Exactly Eny, thats exactly it! I feel stupid because I got baited into some petty stuff on this thread. It was supposed to be mainly about being positive so I am glad you returned normalcy to the thread. People act like we are stupid because we are optimistic when they don't realize how much better it is to be optimistic.

We all see the problems and we all know we have to fix it but someone member on this forum want everyone to act like the Knicks are the worst thing to ever happen to sports. I'm with you bro. I'm glad you started this thread and I hope we start others like this one.

How about the time it takes to put a team like that together and develop it? In most cases you don't just slap a team together like Boston has done. For most teams it takes time.

So far this team is being setup for future success. We have to have some kind of enjoyment of the team until then. Don't you see some of the positive things that are happening with the team so far?

I'm happy with the drafts we've had over the last 3 years. I'm happy with some of the moves we've made to add good young talent to the team in other ways as well. Didn't you love watching our Summer League team out there playing like a team and winning? Those guys are likely part of our future and they can really play. Zach and Curry should be a solid young core for years to come. We should be getting stronger each year.

Where's the evidence that they're moving in that direction? Collecting a bunch of underachieving overpaid castoff malcontets, one dimensional players and late draft picks that project to be role players isn't evidence of the makings of a championship team.

They have quantity over quality. With all of these young players, do they have anybody that projects to be the kind of player that Al Jefferson does? Not even close. Nobody wants what the Knicks have to offer, unless it's to dump their garbage on the Knicks. There isn't a team out there willing to trade their quality players for anybody on the Knicks. Don't you think that's a problem?

But we're supposed to think that this jumbled mess is going to magically turn into a contender? That's BS.

See this is where I think you're wrong. You choose to ignore the signs that this team is improving and that's just not right. You're not willing to allow this team to develop. This team was playing like a .500 team for much of the season, until the major injuries hit. That was GROWTH from the year before and from the start of the season. You can look at the fact that the team increased it's winning % each month and that didn't change until we got hit by the injuries. Could they have responded better after the injuries and won more games, yeah, but to try and say that they didn't show any improvement is just plain wrong.

So you refuse to recognize the improvements Isiah has made to the team this summer and that also bothers me. Why would you refuse to give this team any credit for improving the roster? It's likely that we will see our returning young players play with more confidence this year as well. There should be more chemistry from the start this year. Most important is that this isn't the end for this team. We still have the chance to improve the team from within or by a trade. I just don't agree with your assessment of the team at all.
