If Isiah trades for Rashard Lewis, I'm quitting the Knicks.

That would be, without a shadow of a friggin doubt, the softest Knick frontcourt of alltime.

Craw, Nate, Malik for Rashard resigned?

If you think that will land Lewis you're nuts. With the Allen trade they just may decide to re-sign him.

Your momma Solace. Now back to the discussion. Trades that run through the media NEVER happen. No one saw this coming and thats why it when threw without a hitch.

Nice comeback. In other words, you have no clue, just like our GM.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Where is there room for Rashard with Jeff Green and Durant? 2 top 5 picks?

If not for Zack's mammoth contract, that would be a great thing.

Did you hear Bucher? Seattle will try to keep him. The only way I see him leaving being that they can offer him the most money is if he wants to leave.

If it matters. Randolph is not just a low post player on the offensive end. I know he is weak defensively but he has a nice 15-20ft shot and can put it on the floor. He is pretty quick for his size.

Talent wise, NY WINS. Dickau is a nice backup PG. Jones is a scorer at the 2 and Randolph can score and rebound at will in the East.

I don't love it because Randolph is a head case. But he is a 25 year old head case and with that talent, maybe he gets it one day. If he does, the trade is a steal.

Francis is nothign. Frye...is he ever going to be as good as Randolph? NO.

Knicks will starphuck their way to 38 wins.

Yay?

No.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Look right above the original post. No need to be pompous with that last remark, True. Eventually everyone is right at some point.

Where's Nixluva to come here and tell us that the Knicks are a 55 win team next year?

Nope that's not the question to ask him, that would be letting him off too easy.

I don't quite understand how the two players will co-exist, so i am interested in seeing what happens. I like the trade from the standpoint, we basically traded away dead weight in Francis and a unproductive Frye. So we get Zach's contract which is 4 more years, If we kept Francis, we would have been paying max dollars for a player that could not produce. Honestly, I didn't think we would ever be able to get rid of Francis. Add to that we get 2 expiring deals back. Again, I am not sure how everyone will mesh, but its safe to say we will not miss Frye or Franchise.

Also, in all trade talks everyone keeps saying that we have no assets. I think its safe to say we have some assets. Teams would love a 20 & 10 guy, coupled with the expiring deals and some other fillers, we have something to offer. It's a good strategic move.

I'm torn on this....First, Randolph is more of a face the basket player and shouldn't get in Curry's way much. Randolph is a beast on the boards that is definitely a compliment to Curry.

But defensively, they don't appear to compliment each other. Also, how many minutes are left for Lee? Could we see Lee being shipped out next?

Hmm it just occurred to me, some sort of really screwed up irony. We wanted Kobe, an accused rapist, but the Lakers aren't trading for now. Instead, we get Zack, another accused rapist. What an odd pattern.

Sorry, I think this trade is a steal, not that I would expect most here to like it. It's not as if 25 year old PF's that put up 23 and 10 and have a real post game and outside shot are a dime a dozen...

This is not the same as Francis because Francis was older and damaged goods, physically (although I admit I didn't know it). Randolph is 25 years old and we were stuck with Francis for 2 years contributing NOTHING and taking tremendous cap space. Frye made a step backwards this year (and I was supportive...ask dj sju) while Lee moved forward. Now, Lee can be super 6th man, while Zach mans the post.

I guess you are joining Isiah in the "Defense means nothing" mantra

Anyone who sticks up for Thomas now, must have the same mentality as dolan. We are so incredibly stuck, I mean we are really stuck in hell. The best move would have been 'not' to make any deal at all, if you couldn't make a big deal. Should have let the damn contract just run out or get into it's last year to make a trade. It's gotta be Scott Layden dressed up as Thomas!

Good post 4949.

Zach for Jefferson or Zach for pieces from Chicago or even Zach to Minnesota would be a BLESSING.
