Victory is ours (in spirit) I always say
Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

Man, it was a good game, wish we won.

I kind of didn't like the time out between the free throws. Dallas played the press well and caught us off guard. Had we used the time out after the free throw, we could have advanced it and just held the ball at the top of the key.

A Stone Cold Setup If I Ever Saw One

Q. You're watching? What's the occassion?

A. Please note I coulda said "yo' Mommas Birthday"... but I didn't.

Go Knicks

Your wife probably called you outta the tub.

Missus: "misterearl, I think you should watch this one. Knicks finally playing good."

Mister: "whaddo I care? They ain't my team. Ah heck, I'm comin'. I'll cut my toenails tomorrow."

Really unecessary.

Pretty uptight.

So, to have a problem with you insulting someone and their wife is to be uptight?

You think I insulted his wife? Let's change that to VERY uptight.

Apparently you're not aware of how it could be construed that way, and instead of responding directly to the accusation, you have resorted to a straw man argument. I guess it's become clear that you have no intention of responding to the actual point I was addressing, and now have resorted to trying to demean me.

Yawn.

Thanks for proving my point.

Maybe you need the bath. Might help you relax.

Mardy 1,000 jumpshots a day over the summer

Knicks 1,000 free throws a day over the summer

More like 2,000

is there a magic number yet to making/not making the playoffs. I would imagine we are close to the not making number.

man with all the injuries, 25 turnovers, the team with the best record at home struggled to put us away by 1 bucket.

who really lost this game?

Why does it have to not mean anything? Young guys are getting valuable experience and growing together as a team.

That was a GREAT game! I think Steph was fouled by Dirk on that play, but Oh Well. MAN I thought we had that one. FREAKIN DIRK! He's just so damn good. We gave it everything we had in that one. I don't wanna hear anymore slamming of the team after that one. I mean for ONCE can we all agree that the team is not gutless?

Even though we lost and we officially will not have a winning season, this may have been topped the 3OT game vs. Detroit as the best game of the year.

If they played like this every game a playoff berth would have already been secured.

We got a glimpse of Curry putting forth a little effort on D, he need to do this more often. Francis played his last game as a Knick.

Why haven't they? Did they get up for this game because it was the Mavs? But when the lowly Trailblazers come to The Garden without their best player they get down for that game.

I have to say this since I'm heartbroken and giddy simultaneously. :)

This may have been one of the best games of the year in the NBA, not so much for us. That may be biased but I don't care. The underdog Knicks taking the juggernaut Mavericks to the limit. We saw a Knick team play the BEST defense they've played ALL SEASON. We did lose (and shot ourselves in the foot too many times as usual) and that royally sucks in our quest to get one of those last 5 spots but damnit, whether you're a NYK fan like us, a Mavs fan, or any other fan, THAT was a damn good game. It would've been even better if we won but let's give credit where it's due: they're 61-11.

Young teams tend to do that. On balance, Isiah has done a good job coaching this team, and with everyone healthy next season, and an acquisition or two, I think they will win 45 games.

That applies to all 29 other teams in the league.

When they were healthy they were on pace to win 34gms this season. Consistent 6gms under .500 which is a 41% wiining %. What team goes through the whole yr without injury? I said before the season started they'd win 33gms and I factored everything into the equation. Next yr they'll win 38gms

Zero points for Jefferies and 4 points for Frye just won't get it done. As much as Marbury carried the load he has to have some help.

All 29 teams are young? Where in the minor leagues?
