gut check loss. On the positive it can stiffen the lads for the tough patch ahead. But an L is an L, even though i thought we'd get blown out in this one. We got fight in us.

Crawford was in a bad position there. He was in the paint and had picked up his dribble. You either shoot or turn it over there.

ughh... I thought marbury could have done a good enough job on arenas one on one, not really sure why they doubled so fast

Marbury kept Arenas in check all night, we should not have double teamed that high above the 3 point line....THIS LOSS HURTS

Tough loss but I was proud of the way the guys played in the 4th quarter. We started that down 11 and fought all the way back to take the lead, on the road, against a very good home team. Q was awesome tonight and Curry, Marbury and Craw all had big shots down the stretch. Of course. JJ2 was nowhere to be found on his help defense on that last bucket. Very fitting. Anyhow, good fight, suck we lost but hopefully many of you can see that we are playing better than we have in a while. That would've been a great win to build on. Too bad.

DAMN! This is tough to swallow. Knicks showed a lot of guts tonite getting back in the game. This would have been nice to steal especially after the tough Charlotte loss.

We lost because we only had two guys that could put it in the bucket. Dispite Craw giving us the lead, he and Marbs were a combined 7 for 29. Kudos for Marbs' defensive effort.....but it wasn't enough.

2 more seconds of defense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great game, we over came alot of bullsit from the refs and were up with 12 seconds to go. I wish we would have won his.

Mad props to Q though. He carried the entire team on his back for 3.5 quarters.

refs were real bad... but we werent quite agressive enough.

Jeffries is useless.

Marburys D has been awesome.

Team is improving, even in imperfect games we are competing.

I blame Jeffries. Curry stepped up to Stevenson. Lee stepped up after Stevenson drove past Curry. Jeffries didn't rotate to pick up Butler leaving him all alone under the basket. Jeffries didn't even get over in time to contest the dunk.

No doubt we're playing better. I think many of us do see it, this is the kind of game last season we would have folded late in the 2nd quarter when the Wiz started to pull away and the crowd was getting noisy. But Q and Lee kept us in it to end the half. Again we could have folded late in the third, down double-digits with the Wizard supporting-cast lighting us up and smelling blood. Fight is good. Fight is the first step towards respectability. Last year we deserved no respect. This year we're killing ourselves to earn some.

Not trying to defend Jeffries (no pun intended) but he was picked-off while trying to rotate back.

Who is this idiot hosting the postgame? Is he on Isiah's payroll or what?

I enjoy the competitiveness, but we need to win these games especially with the way the Nets and Rapts are playing.

Next game against Jersey is huge. They have owned us and the Atlantic for a while now and I really hope we come out fired up with something to prove. I'm expecting a playoff type atmosphere at the Garden on Friday. If we can scrap together a victory over the Nets, the fellas might really start to believe in themselves. If we lose to them and Indiana after that, it could be rough. I think we get the W and fight for this thing.
