curry wont average 20 and 10 this season if for no other reason that the fact that hell never average 10 rebounds, but he will be very good next season once his weight is down.
He was averaging 8 a game this year before the calf injury. He won't average 10 a game this year, but I wouldn't say he'll never be able to average 10.

yeah me too, i didnt mean to say that he'll NEVER average 20 and 10 in his entire career, in fact I think its quite possible that he will, but he seems to be too inconsistant of a rebounder to average 10 rebounds this season, it wouldnt be impossible for him to average 20 points this season but not 10 rebounds.

Oh please!! CUrry was a big mistake... HE will never live up to his game... he'll either be in bad shape, injured or lazy..

KNicks should work the offense around a smarter and better big man in Frye.. I don't see Curry ever dominating the league.. he has a tiny b-ball IQ and injury proned....

u are a retard...check his stats..he has played from than 70 games his 1st 3 years and missed 19 at the end of last year because of the heart condition and he missed a few cause of a calf injury...resaerch before u make remarks like dat

He was avg'ing 8 in only a handful of games. It's such a small sample you can't go by that. That's like saying if some PG grabs a huge number of rebounds (say 13 one game and 10 the other) in 2 games i wouldn't say "well he avg'ing 7 rebounds right now..he can avg 9 next year or later this year. Cause he can only improve" All stats fall into place over course of a year.

Bonnie doesn't understand sample size. This is the same guy that wanted everyone to look at a few of the Big Stiff's playoff games instead of his entire pathetic career. I guess when all you care about is spin simple common sense goes out the window.

Agree 100%. I never said it was a large sample. It's large enough to show that he's at least capable now of averaging 8 a game when healthy, but I wouldn't make some kind of huge conclusion based on that small a sample. That would be the kind of spin I always avoid making!

I guess that's why you didn't qualify your previous comment the way you qualify everything else.

Spin away Bonnie.

20 games or 1/4 into the season and Curry's stats so far:

12.1 pts, 6 rebs and 1.1 blocks and he's missed a handful of games with injury.

point taken. Lets see the next 20 as our rotation is settled down a bit more and and we make a power move. I think his numbers will improve drastically. 20 and 10 might be a bit ambitious, but I don't see these as his season numbers. He's just getting back into the flow. I see alot more games from him like the on against the clippers. We'll see.

curry wont average 20 or 10 this season, but hopefull He'll be good for like 16.5 and 7.5. IF he can do that I will be satisfied, setting aside the issue of whether or not it was a good trade for now.

ita good to read how down some posters were on our players...no wonder they are quickly dismissing our wins. curry has definitely been rebounding better than any other time in his career (under brown's teaching).

I still think he's 20/10 next year...no qualification necessary.

Since he returned from injury on Dec. 26th, Eddy has been averaging 20.5 PPG and 9.4 RPG!!!!

He has arrived and still isnt even full speed yet.

Imagine what his numbers will be whne he learns to turn over his right shoulder and shoot a lefty-hook or even throw it down with the left. Then when he starts pitching it out of double teams......fagedaboudit!

You would like the small sample.

Wrong; I LOVE the small sample but would love a bigger sample more and have no reasons to expect it to turn for the worse as the sample grows bigger and our 22 year old continues to mature and learn under Larry. Is it okay, Isles, to be excited about having a PF ROY candidate and an improving 23 year old center with a very high upside?
