It really appears that it's not going to matter who starts the game this year--there's going to be alot of substituting and playing the matchups--it's going to be a team effort and I love this team.

good game, amazing how crawford and marbury still jack up stupid jumpers... that better change... Freethrows coulda won it.. rookies played GREAT i say start frye or lee at PF

Craw and Marbs really don't know how to run a team. They can play though.....Brown will get them working. Aside from the negativity.....Craw is finally under control and is showing aggressiveness on defense. Marbs was also moving a lot faster that I have seen in a while. Usually you see Marbs skipping the ball around until he decides to drive.

I agree about what you said about the rookies. I think Frye and Lee just beat out Rose and Taylor for minutes during the regular season. These guys are really good!!!

Frye and Lee are awesome. Jackie Butler is also a keeper.

Help me understand one thing, how is it that Q and Marb played poorly while the stat sheets proved that they had a pretty good game? Marb's 10 pts, 2 rbs, 5assists, on 3 for 8 shooting while playing 26 minutes is not bad. Keep in mind that Marb has been banged up and will need time to get his game right. I am quite happy with the production that we got from all of our boys, especially playing a very good Dallas team that has been together for a very long time...

Lee is an angry white guy! The dude is intense. He's also got good size and length. Early reports are in and it certainly does look like a draft that can really inject some energy into the team.

The need to rebound... nobody seems to know how to box out or put a body on a body and it hurt us. They all seem to rely on their length and athleticism which is great in college.

Dont matter... they will learn and they play D

You watch that second half and you have to say to yourself, we need to trade some of these "talented" guys like Craw, Q, and even Marbury becuase Ariza, Nate, and Lee have to play big minutes, frye has to play significant time and that just doesn't leave room for those guys.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I believe in that too.....you can't really see what a guy can do from the stat sheet.

After watching this game I dunno how the Knicks can lose a game!!! I'm playing around but with a bench that will have James(when healthy)Frye, Lee, Ariza, Nate, Barnes(he had a good game too!!!) backing up Who ever starts? The Knicks will be bringing it for 48 minutes everynight!

Everything seems.....different!
This will be a fun season.

thats exactly what will happen once we just make or miss the playoffs. Hopefully we get enough value back to get us to the next level or at least land us the #1 pick via the lottery

naa... regular season is a different story. Mavs had guys just getting tuned up while our rookies are going full steam. Dont think this good high energy performance will translate. You can see the skills but there are mistakes abound. I like the small backcourt with Lee at the 3 or 4.

starting lineup made a lot more mistakes and turnovers and hardly moved the ball around and the Mavs weren't playing serious defense

I'll tell you why... HATIN. There's are so many blatant HATERS around here that it sickens me. They NEVER want to give Steph any credit. It was so obvious that Steph is the best PG on this team right now.

I LOVED the play of our young guys. I don't want to see vets like Penny, Mo or even Rose taking PT away from these kids. They bring an energy and hustle that the old guys just can't bring. They still make mistakes and some of them are not as polished as they will be, but they can get more done.

Nate, Ariza, Frye & Lee are for real. Our rotation should include Steph, JC, Q, Curry, Frye then Nate, Ariza, Lee, Barnes & JJ, IMHO.
Butler as well, cuz these are thhe guys that really bring the Size, energy and D we need to win games. Penny, Mo & Rose just don't do it for me.

Totally enjoyable game. Even that nutty tip by Diop was almost a fitting ending. The important thing was how the Knicks fought back in the 4th.

What about that Nate?!?!?! Waving and pumping his arms to get the crowd going?? That whole nutty routine he does at the foul line?!?!?!

My biggese hope at this point is that Larry doesn't put the rooks on mothballs when the regular season starts. It's one thing to give these guys all this burn now, i want to make sure they're in when it counts, especially if AD comes.

Another vary positive sign - Jackie Blue may be a player after all!! We end up with 4 bigs - that's perfect!

I like Mo and Rose, but I don't believe that they fit this system. Rose was blessed with playing with two dominating big men in TD and DR, but we don't have that in N.Y. just yet. However, Penny has to go...he is hurting our team much more than helping.
