I don't watch Houston enough but they seem like they have an offensive ceiling in the playoffs. Jalen Green and Sengun - again, at the playoff level - won't cut it, or at least not soon. I don't think either of those guys have it in them.

100% they need KD - its a match made in heaven. They have plenty of young long term talent - more than they need or can afford at the same time. At this exact moment KD is better at every single thing Jalen Green does for them and Green will never approach KD level. To me this is the easy swap - lets them commit long term to Sengun, Thompson etc., while giving them a real 2 yr title contention window and long term core pieces they can afford to keep. I usually hate the young for old starphuch, but the Rockets have exactly the right pieces to make this happen and improve their window while not mortgaging anything long term.

I'm super impressed with McCullar's footwork and IQ, he just oozes both and I hope those injuries are behind him.

Just needs to iron out those shot mechanics.

Yeah, I can honestly say that I miss him more than Jules. Which isn't saying much because Jules crumbles in the playoffs because of his weak psyche. Please prove me wrong, please give me that crow I am hungry for it. Donte was the one that got away Although he wanted no part of the bench and we got a better player and starter in Mikal to take his place. Did you see Mikal's game winner? It was glorious,if I am being honest

Julius is not the only All-NBA/All-Star talent this time around, and not playing on an injured ankle. So I'm guessing he's going to have a pretty good playoff run. And that his haters will still hate.

I watched the game. Watched Jules a ton. It's clear his job was to take Lebron out of the game and he absolutely did. Had a body on him every minute. He was a physical defender all night and played like a champ. They have a great shot to beat LA

Thought you were going to say sweep.

I don't get how Perry got another gig. I thought he was terrible here and pretty underwhelming in Orlando. Nice guy though!

He was assistant GM in orlando. one cannot know what his attributions were or not.
Here? He was under Mills and perhaps stabbed him in the back when he got fired. That might have prevented MIlls doing short term starphuck things to save his job.
He is and was well respected as the dude that post PHil Jax was able to bring trading logic and a respected voice in the trade arena.
He was tasked to trade KP and while the jury was out at the time the trade worked well for us and created the cap space to sign Randle.
He was here for 6 years, three under Leon. We don't know if he wanted to leave and perhaps had other things lined up (might not have panned out), or knicks wanted to go in another direction. I feel he as more than just a bridge given his tenure under Leon.
At the same time what can we attribute to him and him alone? Tough to say. Leon is team president and likly has final say. Aller was the numbers guy. Rosas was here for a year under Perry.
This article might speak well for his tenure: https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/knicks-parting-ways-with-gm-scott-perry-despite-a-pretty-successful-tenure-per-report/

Lets be real, he was part of the solution than any detraction in his 6 years and very well respected. That should be more than enough for Kings to want. A steady logical exec with turn around experience.

The Athletic predicts Dyson Daniels gets DPOY given many players did not reach 65/62 games threashold. OG did not reach final 3 as announced but polled execs and lands in top 10 in votes. Perhaps he makes all defensive team?

Dyson deserves it. If its not Dyson it should be Mobley, but I think Dyson is a tier above.

Does Mobley get more credit because his team is playing for something, or does Daniels get the credit for continuing to show effort in the midst of a **** show? I lean Mobley.
