Were they lying? lol...Talented dude but regressed this season and definitely in these playoffs. D.West carried the Pacers this year.

Pacers are stuck...they need a point guard but they have no money to get one via free agency. The other question is, what do you do with L.Stephenson? All world talent and seems to be a head case....This is their J.R. Smith...do they pay him or let him go? If you let him go, who do you replace him with?

Interesting to see what they do this off season....

I thought Paul George had a good playoffs but it just seem that he was inconsistent. His highs were very high and his lows were very low. He is a young player that will probably improve. His rebounding early in the playoffs were awesome.

Heat fans can chirp & gloat negatives about P.George 'overated' all they want
Also them 3 stars superstars Lebron, Dwade and Bosh can come off all the like
as nice guys re-improving their images trying to get NBA to like em', kudos to HEAT.
Don't buy the "Good guy" heat guys but they get credit for whipping NBA.

However, DJ will proudly hold on to disdain for Miami Heat they can 3peat
they can 4peat, they all can go Kiss' where the sun dont shine.

They are champions, I can respect what they do and don't like them, I cant stand HEAT fans
But until they are beat they will continue to run over NBA and that puts them in history talks
of good/great teams.

One day they (Miami Heat) all will fall..

Scola trade was a terrible trade.

One of the very rare instances where I was right! That scola trade was something we would have been blasted for, but because the media were praising everything about the pacers at the time, it was heralded as a fantastic move.

They gave up Plumlee, who could have made up for hibberts disappearances, Green who had a great year and could have provided much needed scoring, and a future first. Awful, disaster of a trade.

I have no idea what kind of contract Lance gets or who tries to sign him- great talent but also one of the most annoying players in the league!

Maybe Vogel should have played Cope more- the irony!

I think once your team chemistry gets as rotted as the Pacers did this season, you either have to significantly change the roster, or change the coach- maybe even both. Pacers aren't even that young of a team- they are pretty loaded with vets, including West, Scola and Hill. Really only Lance and PG are young.

I don't know if they can have success if they bring Lance back but they really need him.

no they don't need him. they should try to swap him out for an upgrade over george hill.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Playing Copeland or Scola probably doesn't make a difference for Indy. Indy's issue is that Hibbert and West are overpaid for what they bring, moreso Hibbert.

Indy can't really do anything except bring back and integrate more Evan Turner and sign Stephenson, but I wouldn't touch him with a 10-foot pole for more than 1 year.

I think Pop would like to stay away from the small ball if possible. The irony is that OKC going "big" with the return of Serge has caused the Spurs to readjust by going smaller, if that makes sense.

stephenson's value is as high as it will be so it makes sense to trade him to a more mature and established team such as san antonio in order for indiana to upgrade the point guard position.

I think Evan Turner is gone. His value has diminished to the point where they can probably bring him back, but he has been a nonfactor since the trade. I winder if they'd consider a dealing Hill and Hibbert to us for a deal with Chandler as the centerpiece. I think Roy would be a better fit in the triangle and Chandler is a better fit for Indiana's defensive schemes. Plus, Chandler is better scorer at the rim. Hill would be a solid fit as point guard in the triangle.

Ha Ha Ha What happened to the Pacers?? Paul George ran out of gas and is over rated. I just can't wait for Melo and the Knicks to go to the finals and it won't be long.

Pacers would have lost in the first round if it wasn't for D.West.

He was, by far, their MVP in this years post season.

P.George didn't run out of gas but the media, and some fans, did over rate him and tried to put force him in a category that he is not ready for (and may not ever be).

To me, he has reached his plateau which isn't a bad thing in my book since I consider him a top 10 player, but he is not in the level of Durant, Bron, Paul, Parker, Wade, Melo...

Lance, PG and West played at, or near, the levels they played at during the regular season, which is all you can ask for. It's the rest of the roster that didn't show up. Also, let's keep it real. Miami is just a better team. Maybe it's all on Vogel for not coming up with a more intelligent plan and playing Copeland more.

The whispers have already started in Indy about Bird turning to his old point guard, Mark Jackson, to take over. Jackson and Reggie Miller were the leaders when Bird was the Pacers' coach ... and Bird isn't the only big fan in the organization of the man Golden State just ousted. Fellow Pacers exec Donnie Walsh is another huge admirer who has long maintained privately that he wouldn't consider Jackson for the Indy job unless he had coached somewhere else first.

But that's a box Jackson obviously can check now

I disdain the HEAT, Dwade and All they've accomplished

However give credit to HEAT and No-credit to the now new WEAK NBA,

Guess LBJ & company had the very last laugh over Indy's Pace-makers & Lance Stevenson

Just call them King James Muhammad James & Lance Liston
LOL !
