I think it would be an awkward line up with Batum Carmelo KP and Lopez--way way way to slow to big. Really its two C and two 3-4's

The next super team is going to be Minnesota. The combination of Lavine Wiggins Dieng and Towns is the future of the NBA. I would definitely take Denzel Valentine at 5-6 or wherever they pick there unless they get pick 1 or 2.

I agree actually about the Knicks lineup. But I don't think it'll stop Phil.

This is why I'd advocate for Jennings and Wroten and maybe Evan Turner. Play making guards. Keep Galloway. Develop Grant. Keep Afflalo off the bench if possible. Let DWill go. Stretch Jose. That gives them close to $30m in cap room.

I think you might be right about Rolo and KP not being able to play next to one another. I would try to platoon them until KP is ready to play center full time - but that might take a few years.

The FA I want to add are Evan Turner and Brandon Jennings.

Jennings and Wroten with Grant are 3 somewhat wild players. Its going to take 2 years to see what we have--Im ok with that--but if that the case Id like to trade melo. Turner might be a high contract and hes a non shooter. This draft is so full of great guards--thats where we get killed. If we got 2-3 good guards--guys who can help make KP and Ro LO better--speed up our pace--our D etc... Wroten was a good pick up--he reminds me of Reggie Jackson but he needs a lot of work on his shot. That gives us 2 PGs who cant shoot.

Stephenson started at the point for Memphis tonight. I don't know if that is where he got most of his minutes but he put up good numbers, 19,7 and 6.

do you not care at all about shooting? Obviously, efficiency is not important but who the hell will shoot for us?

How do analytics explain Lance Stephenson having a .410 TS% in Charlotte last season and .560 TS% in Memphis and LAC this season? And to me, Lance was a terrible fit in LAC and a great fit for MEM - his WS/48 reflect that. I think Lance would've been a perfect fit for the triangle and to play alongside Melo. But que sera sera sera.

Sometimes it's about fit and you have to be able to envision how the fit will work.

I think Brandon Jennings would work here. I think Evan Turner would work here. I said in my post it'd be nice to get a good shooting SG to go along with those two guys.

what do you think is the percentage of players that have such huge TS swings? This is not a good argument. See? Look at lance. He did it. See? Look at bruce bowen, he learned how to shoot ... exceptions to the rule. Its all about %'s.

You think that those guys will be the new out liars but that is based what? Not stats obviously, just gut? Gut just don't cut it.

Terrico White has been beasting in the d league. I forgot about him but he looks a lot more polished in addition to still being an athletic freak. He might be a nice, cheap addition to the back court and he can play some point. He just turned 26, seems like he has been out of school forever.

SA has got this one wrapped up.

What a game!!

Curry was 1-9 from 3. SA and Leonard's defense was incredible.

this could be the best playoff series in 20 years.

Awesome. They just said Curry is 1-11 for 3 but it might be 1-10.

They played him really tough but his fake gets him some good looks. Great d by the Spurs.

it was great defense and it was not just one guy. They were all draped on him and really boxed him in and trapped him a lot. Curry also took some really bad shots. GS in a series would adjust to them just like they adjusted to cleveland but the spurs and pop would be adjusting as well.

SA's size really hurt GS.

That is going to be a great series if it is the western conference finals. I missed the first half. 37 pts. for the Warriors. Would have loved to have seen the d played by the spurs there to hold them to that.

Great game last nite between Spurs/Warriors. Great Defense by both team. Spurs kept Warrior from running amuck which was what happened in their last meeting. I rooted for spurs as its as old school effort for hope. Trapping defense by them to contain curry seemed to work. Put him on his ass a few times as well. I like the Warriors but Like the way Spurs play. Kwai is an unassuming star. As a reminder, they traded George hill to the pacers (not a bad trade for them either!!) Hill had just come off a great series and had replaced Tony Parker. Indy had Paul George and Danny Granger at the time they drafted kwai for the Spurs. Spurs drafted Hill like 26th, developed him, traded for Leonard who is a star. Do the spurs do this every time? no. But if you keep your picks you create opportunities, and you need those to get "lucky"!

Amazing that Boris Diaw can do this year in and year out!!! The beacon of light for stability and a culture of excellence!!!! Rome was not build in a day, neither was the Spurs. So why we expect so much from Phil?
