Geez man this has been the most ball bustinest game to read through. Talk about anxiety attack? Shit!

So now I'm supposed to go home and watch the replay? Can I relive these feelings again?

All I know is I was cursing out loud as I read that Memphis had the ball with 33 seconds and then nearly shot a load in my pants when I scroll down and see craw steals the ball and is fouled in the backcourt!

What a epic game! If the knicks lost this one after all that.....90% of all knick fans would have killed themselves at the same time! The rest would have did it after their co-workers got through with them the next day!

We all should get life alert!

that was definitely the atmosphere tonight! You had to see Solace, Silver & I during that overtime. If the Knicks lost this game man! it would've been a long drive home. We got in an argument with some Nets fans sitting at the other table! They're so annoying!! We couldn't give a rats ass about the Nets yet these guys are watching the Knicks and cheering after every mistake! of course all you need to ask them at that point is how many championships have you won or enjoy them while they're still in Jersey! Of course the Nets fan conviently left before the game was over!

a win is a win is a win. just like a basehit--it doesnt have to b aline-drive. they were desperate and had some VERY serious rim-rattling adversity but got the W

thats right. I'll take a road win like that anyday! its like like we're the Spurs. Definitely a great win to start the season. First opening night win in what 4yrs. We must beat Atlanta though!

It takes character and toughness to win on the road

No team is rolling over.

Knicks are 1-0

It also take brains, which Crawford lacked in his shot selection

Damn... 44 pages? LMAO!
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I just checked and last year's opening night thread only had 14 pages. Just goes to show how ultimateknicks.com's popularity has caught on. Certainly isn't due to the Knicks gaining any new fans over the last few years!

Yeah but opening night last year went to OT as well. This thread had more than 3 times as many posts. I definitely saw far more members participating on the game thread than years past.

Ah well that changes things. Still think there were a lot more posters on here than I was used to seeing.

Yeah time to make UK T-shirts and bumper stickers. Fun game- I had to be in Maine last night but caught the whole game on the Radio- 1050 came out clear as a bell at night, maybe because we were near the water- but it was fun to see the posters freaking out with me. I would rather take an ugly W over anything else, all season long. D Lee gets the rebound! Knicks win!
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

Its tough for me to post during the game. If I sit by the computer I'll probly end up breaking my keyboard when something bad happens ...so I sit literally inches away from the tv with my orange towel I received back in 99 playoffs against Indy and if I get mad I'll just punch the floor, hey its better than putting a hole in the wall or breaking something
I wasn't born with enough middle fingers!!!
