Poor officiating aside, the Heat absolutely DOMINATED yesterdays game. LeBron and Bosh were outstanding and it had nothing to do with the officiating.

Hibbert scored ZERO points and (i think) only had 5 rebounds...pathetic.

Indiana is a weak team and as much as I like P.George, he is nowhere near "superstar" level. After watching Indiana in these playoffs, I would take D.West and L.Stephenson before P.George. Seriously...if this was the performance they were going to give, they should have given up in the second round and let the Wizards advance.

I had the Heat winning this series but no way did I think they would do it 5. SMH

I agree. I did think the offensive foul call on Lance was a really bad call and things might have gotten interesting with the pacers pulling to within nine. Just read Paul George's comments and I don't know how he could possibly think the pacers outplayed the heat. The heat were in control for the entire game. The pacers look like they will be out in 5.

I don't know why but when I saw your post the makings of a Sterling joke popped into my head.

So ... Does scott brooks get to keep his job?

They seem to live and die with Westbrook. Durant is pretty consistently great.

Series isn't over, but I'd say Brooks is safe if OKC makes it to the NBA finals.

Idk, Scott just did what average fans said he should do all along, stop playing Thabo and Collinson and give Adams more minutes. I do like adding Lamb into the mix. I guess with Jackson in the starting line up he has his Fisher excuse so all is well. He'll likely return even if they lose the series but every year it will be the same story until they have an upset before the WCF.

re durant: I wouldn't say he is consistently great when almost every guy he guards has an advantage over him. He is usually great offensively though with a bad game here in there. He plays offense so effortlessly it seems. Amazing player.

It was just a few weeks ago in Memphis when people were saying Durant was flaky one and Westbrook was the fiery leader lol Styles make fights.

Yeah, but he only really had a few bad shooting games and really I think Westbrook didn;t shoot that well that series either but he does so many other things. It just goes to show you the need of at least two quality stars to carry a team but you need three to compete for championships. Ibaka might not be a super star but he is a star defensive player that can hold his own on the offensive side.

That Kawahi Leonard train seems to be delayed at the station this entire series. It's awesome for player like him to get the rewards but none of the criticism. I am not saying he is not a good player but he gets hype up so much. I still would love to have him on my team(if I had a team) though.

Yeah, Serge is invaluable. You have guys who can protect the rim like Hibbert and DeAndre Jordan, but how many guys are out there that cab protect the rim and be a consistent factor on the offensive end?

do or die for the pacers tonight. they do not appear to be mentally strong enough or tightly knit enough to make it this year. there will be some tough talking if they don't win tonight.
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Indy needs to stir it up a bit a scuffle is in order. Since they are going down might as well try all the tricks in the book. Maybe you get an escalation and Lebron gets on the court and other players too.

What a joke the Pacers/ Heat game was- at least two of those Lebron fouls we're complete BS, but Ed Malloy was calling the game so not a surprise!

I agree. I have never seen a game where LBJ had calls like that go against him. I missed parts of the first half but the two calls that stood out for me was Lebron's third foul early in the third and his fifth foul midway through the third. I am not sure if there was any contact on the third foul at all. Also, it was hard to watch Stephenson play so aggressively, initiating a lot of contact, instigating and generally playing in a manner where he was allowed to foul and behave like an @ss without getting fouls called on him or t'd up. It looked like the fix was in last night the way the game was called.
