What's the deal with your internet?

I'd say the better question is "what's the deal with Libyan infrastructure?" but then again road, water, and sewage are only considered infrastructure

and then the IT guys have to cover four different compounds and have the same work ethic as Bip's search function work ethic

lol.. cut through that red-tape SC. You'd be golden with a slingbox.

those guys should really consider hiring Bip for their IT position if they are struggling that bad. He's a good one.

So I finally saw the Cowboys game... The team definitely needs to iron out some issues on both sides of the ball regarding the run. Considering how much turnover is in the secondary and the passing game, as well as the loss of Ward, and the lack of continuity in the LB corps... I thought the team did well. There's a lot to improve upon for sure, but I was really worried when I looked at the box score but when I watched the game the game I kind of realized the Giants controlled the outcome from start to finish

Damn dude, that really blows. Does someone know there's an issue with your internet? I mean it seems to me that if the company was willing to bring you there from America, that they would make the place feel as homey as possible for you. Tell em to get off their asses.

Manning to Smith is gonna be a nice tandem for many years to come.

easy win this week, hope Eli's ankle is OK, looked like he tweaked his Achilles in the 4th quarter on the dropback to pass... next week should be another easy win, can't be any letdowns... i like this team's focus so far, but Brandon Jacobs really needs to get his arse in gear... right now Ahmad Bradshaw is our best RB by far... gotta get to 5-0 before we start the tough stretch of the schedule.

I actually thought Jacobs had some real nice runs today and before I read your post, I was going to say he looked good. Boley played pretty good as well.

i don't see Jacobs running w/the same power he ran with last year... he's hesitating at the line & not hitting the holes as hard as he used to... to me Ahmad Bradshaw has been our best RB this year by a wide margin.

Eli says he has a muscle strain in his heel. We are lucky he didn't tear his tendon. When Nicks, Manningham, Smith are all healthy and playing like they can play this will be the best WR group we've ever had.

I saw the first quarter (HOLY SHIT!!!!) And I agree. Jacobs had that 16 yard rumble and he was running into a wall. Bradshaw's been good, for certain, but he's got speed and the ability to counter overagressive defenses that are most deifnitely oveprlaying the run. Jacobs ran with conviction and just missed the century mark with 8 sometimes 9 overplaying the run.

Come December, January, and February, Jacobs will open things up even more for Smith and Manningham than he's already doing. Granted I didn't see too much of the game last night but I'm with you, he did do much better and he's a huge reason why Smith has space to operate

So my best friend has been sending me his Giants update... I thought this was awesome and it provided legit insight, as opposed to regurgitating what others wrote
Monday morning report-

Its the beginning of a whole new week, and the G-men are 4-0 (3 of which were road games. Kudos Coughlin!!). That's what I'm talking about. Sorry about no report last week but the Giants played the Bucs as you know who suck monkey balls. Best team in the league vs worst? Not much to report. The Buccaneers looked like a high school team. They had something like 7 three-and-outs and just could not execute. As expected, the Giants D dominated and the front seven looked better than they did against Dallas. Wrap-up: the New York Football Giants shutout the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27-0. Nothing much more to say. Really anything exciting the Giants did against the Bucs was tempered by the fact that they were playing an absolutely ****ty team. So on to yesterdays match up.

Giants vs Chiefs-

A. Pierce: 7 tackles, 2 for a loss
(*Dominant)
Giants D: 5 sacks
(J. Tuck, M. Boley, O. Umenyiora, M. Kiwanuka, R. Bernard)
E. Manning: 20-of-34, 292 yards, 3 TD, 1 Fumble
B. Jacobs 21 carries, 92 yards
A. Bradshaw: 12 carries, 64 yards
(*Ahmad is averaging 5.7 yards per carry this season)
S. Smith: 11 catches, 134 yards, 2 TD
(*BOO-YAH!!)

The Giants started off real early with this one. They forced a fumble on the opening kick off and recovered the ball on the
Chiefs 16. Manning quickly connected with Smith in the end zone and drew first blood against the Chiefs. Determined for fair play though Manning fumbled in the first quarter and gave the ball the the Chiefs on the Giants 34. Thankfully the D stepped in and held them to 3. At this point it was off to the races. The Chiefs didn't score again until the fourth quarter and the G-men racked up 27 points by that time. Smith and Manning connected a second time and Hakim Nicks scored his first NFL touchdown off a screen with a long 54 run into the end zone. Nicks broke and avoided at least three tackles on his way to the promised land. Tynes was 2/3 hitting from 25 and 40.

Obviously, the D looked great everyone was clicking and the tough guys held KC to just three points over 3 quarters (they shutout the Buccaneers last week so they D didn't allow a TD for 7 quarters of football and only gave up 3 pts). The Offense had plenty of production but do the math. All those yards and only 27 pts? Add this to your calculations: the Chiefs tried 3 on-sides kicks and lost them all! All that offensive production and three recovered on-sides kicks!? To me, they should have scored at least 34-37 pts. So the problems in the red zone persist despite a good helping of points. Tynes went wide right off a hooking kick again today. He has missed one in the each of the last three games. He was perfect in week one at home though so maybe its the Jack Kerouac effect aka the "on the road" effect.

Real quick around the NFC East. Washington barely squeezed by Tampa Bay (who we dominated) 16-13. They improve to 2-2. Dallas lost 17-10 in a nail biter that went to the final seconds with the 'Boys taking two shots from the red zone for a TD to tie while time clicked away. Dallas falls to 2-2. The Eagles had a Bye week.

Game of the week tonight: Minnesota vs Green Bay. Definitely check in on this one buddy.

Eli Manning(notes) is going to have to play in pain if he wants to continue as the New York Giants quarterback.

Manning was diagnosed with inflamed tissue in his right foot late Monday following an MRI at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan. It’s a problem that usually develops over time and lingers.

Team physician Russell Warren told Manning he could play this weekend against the Oakland Raiders if he could tolerate the pain.

“It’s not as serious an injury as (the doctor) has seen before, where it’s the whole foot that’s hurting,” Manning said in an interview on ESPN Radio in New York. “It’s just kind of a portion of it.”

Dr. Steven Weinfeld, chief of foot and ankle surgery from Mount Sinai’s Department of Orthopaedics in New York City, said in a telephone interview with The Associated Press that the injury could be treated by taping the foot, stretching, cushioning the area and using ibuprofen or any anti-inflammatory medicine . He said cortisone injections also can help.

The past 24 hours have been a scary time for Giants faithful, knowing an injury could suddenly elevate veteran David Carr(notes) to the starting job this weekend against Oakland, and a serious injury could crush hopes of another championship run.

Manning, who has thrown for 1,039 yards, eight touchdowns and two interceptions this season, was hurt early in the fourth quarter in a non-contact injury in New York’s 27-16 win over the Chiefs in Kansas City.

At least it wasn't his achilles. Plantar fasciatis is manageable if painful. Luckily he's a QB and not a basketball player. I think there's a small chance he may miss this week, but knowing Eli he will be playing through this.

i dont know, you see what that injury did to what could have been a hall of fame career for jerome james....marv still hasnt recovered.
