James Harden reinjured his hamstring in workouts and is “back at square one” and “out indefinitely.”

Who does he thinks he is, Frank?

Well, given Harden and KD's health, if Frank was in Brooklyn, he might actually get some PT. Provided he didn't immediately get hurt.
I wonder what teams have the most injuries right now?

Nice we're getting recognition (even Zach Lowe had Randle AND RJ on his top Most improved player candidates list), made me realize how badly Suns fans are getting screwed- all they're getting is a few articles says "why is everybody sleeping on the Suns?" (love it when the bball writers ask themselves a question as though they have no idea or control over what they're doing!)- they've taken such a huge step forward this year both as a team and as players (Ayton and Bridges especially)

Listening to Michael Kay Show on WEPN -- a couple months ago they were saying "do whatever it takes to get Westbrook" (meaning multiple firsts, RJ, Obi, etc.). Same knuckleheads (among so many others) who criticized not getting KD and Kyrie, only getting the third pick in 2019, trading KP, signing Randle etc. etc. Well make room for them on the bandwagon.

The hate was justified for an organization that loses and makes blunders.
Media knows most fans responds to what happening and not patient with a process.
Fear of Thibs was we’d cash in picks and yoot for tired vets. This is not happening thus far. One can only hope ownership sees the long view and not the starphuch.
Not to say there is a time and place to accelerate talent acquisition. Randle was a gift born from good scouting. I’d be curious if it was Perry that championed the move.

Crazy how we improved so much mid season. 1st half of the season people just zoned us the whole game to beat us. I guess the players took that as pure disrespect.

Apparently they did do a lot of extra work on improving their shooting. Here is a quote from Thibs.

“We’ve put a lot of time into the shooting,” Thibodeau said. “So guys come in at night, or they shoot around on off days or film days. So they’ve made a very serious commitment. I think by working the way they worked, it’s given them confidence. The two biggest things with shooting are confidence and concentration. So, if you make that commitment to put the work in and grow your shot and you have a checklist on your shot, it helps.”

Less than a couple months ago they were screaming to trade everything but Randle for Beal, putting Beal in the exact same position he is in in Washington with another star and no way to get better.

I love their show and as long as their takes have nothing to actually do with the game/ game knowledge of basketball they are actually pretty good. Off the court stuff/public relations stuff are their strong suit.

DCR sucks on basketball knowledge too. Best is Hahn by far. My problem is putting football/baseball/hockey athletes on a mic and talking a sport they have no more knowledge of than an above average fan. I would love for Kay and DCR to somehow add a basketball guy or if not an athlete a skilled general sports columnist (personally I replace Peter on Kay and Canty on DCR).

I've been listening to the Kay show lately simply because Carton/Roberts on the FAN is absolutely unlistenable to me. Yes I actually miss Mike Francesa. Anyway, as much as the Kay show pissed me off as regards the Knicks in recent times, I understand they are simply ratings driven. If clowning the Knicks gets more ears then so be it. If jumping on the bandwagon does then so be it. Which describes the bulk of all media gasbags. "It's not personal, just business...."

Watching Suns/Nets, appreciate Doris Burke taking a moment while BKN had the ball to mention the Knicks 9 game winning streak is the biggest story in NY right now.

Nets are an NBA story. Knicks are NY Story being reported by the National media. While randle was a free agent he is making his mark as a knick. Kyrie and former MVP’s Durant and harden made theirs before they came here.
BOth are good stories and I’d love to see them both as a playoff match up. It be a risky to our psyche but knicks not suppose to be in that conversation anyway.

Nets are a terrible story, if they win the chip it’s such a terrible message: Sulk and whine until you get what you want, turn up to training camp late and out of shape after prioritising strippers and putting your teammates at risk of covid, mail it in, rest and take days and weeks off to party, whinge and whine on social media all day long, s*** on your previous teammates, declare yourself above everyone else, play hardly any of the regular season then show up and turn it on in the playoffs and win it all. How can anyone root for that? Would be a big f-you to all the players that put in effort and hard work
