I'm surprised you'd say this. Is Boy Cavalier too much of a mirror image for you? Joking aside, Alien:Earth is a good science fiction show, but a subpar Aliens show if that makes sense.

Fully agree to your points! I really thought it started great - sticking to the known and loved Alien-recepies but then after 3-4 episodes it got caught up in some weired sub-plots and concepts!
I would have prefered it to stay away from the "emanzipation" of Wendy and the bunch and rather stuck to a harder "corporate warfare" storyline within an Alien horror setup.
Looots of potential with the T-Oculus thingy thought!

I tried to do Bud Light and Mich ultra. The unintended consequence was that I ended up eliminating beer from my diet altogether. It was so watered down that I figured I should just increase my water consumption or go with hard liquor.

Haha, I stopped drinking beer too, for the same reason. It's like when I smoked in my early twenties I started to smoke cigarettes with little taste like Merits and I just gave the whole Shabang up

Im off beer also. After trips to Germany and Ireland I did have some infactuations with a few brews. Guiness is still a favorite when I do partake but Killkenny Cream ale is incredible1. One can find it via draft in a proper irish pub in NYC.
If you see it give it a try. Its a sort of inbetween Smithwicks and Guinness.
