There really isn’t anyone on the roster that is irreplaceable, but there aren’t many replacements for McBride. If you accept that he is here for on the ball defense and that any offensive contributions are bonus material, there aren’t a lot of players that hound the ball the way he does. He’s got to bide his time with Brunson and Rose in front of him, but he’s the kind of player that’s you look at when he is 27 and decide he is the DPOY. I think he is and will be a low usage player that changes the game with his defense.

I’d like to see him vs Brunson in practice.

Knicks finally got past Celitcs in 1970 and then by 1974 Cowens and Havlicek, Nelson and Jo Jo White back at it again and they win another chip. I fooking hated them!
That they took us to 7 games in 1973! But we won. Pure gold.
I hated them for so long! Yes, Fuck them. But whats left? they play in a homogenized arena, has a kind of cool logo, deep history, and no evil players.
Why don't we hate Marcus smart? Isn't he the perfect villian type? We don't because they beat us, but don't hurt us!

I always felt the gods were kind to yankees but not the knicks! LOL!!!! They got the Celtics, We got the Yankees.

The Knicks have pretty much been like an annoying gnat at worst to the Celtics almost forever. A few exceptions obviously. I can remember Bernard carrying the Knicks to 7 game series against them in the late 80s. We booed the refs who slobbered at the feet of Larry Bird more than Larry himself who was a stone killer. Honestly, the punk we really hated was Danny Effing Ainge. A real flopping crybaby. Who also threw some daggers 😕

Oh, and then there was that. I have to admit, I felt nothing when he got stabbed at the bar. Not my best moment but PP is and was a real jerk.
KG with his harsh trash talk was also a jerk. Funny thing was they were just league wide *******s. Not like they tourtured us in the playoffs or anything. Not like the 70’s.
The Bullets were rivals that we beat often, but they were cool. Celtics were not cool.

But who recalls when Celtis wont he chip and KG flubbed his line post game interview. It was so awkward it had to be flubbed!: he was was trying to promote the shoe company and ended up screwing up the “Impossible is Nothing” slogan; “Anything is possible” just happens to be the slogan of Chinese sneaker company Li-Ning.

I just can't stand Boston. I feel like a heel, but even when their guys get injured I feel joy. Just in the last few months my hate got even stronger.

In the finals they actually booed their own team. How much of a self entitled prick does a fan base have to be to do that?!?

Also, after FA multiple articles gave the Celtics A+ for their summer moves while giving the Knicks "Incomplete." How anyone could look at nearly identical lead guard/ back up Center needs and conclude that Brogdon/ Gallo are better than Brunson/ Hart is also beyond me. Just a ridiculous amount of Celtics bias in the media, even worse than the love the Lakers get.

Montrezl Harrell has agreed to a two-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers. Harrell will have a player option in Year 2.

Harrell will reunite with Doc Rivers, who he played for with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Harrell was one of the NBA's last remaining free agents who was certain of finding a roster spot. Harrell finished last season with the Charlotte Hornets.

76ers are gonna be stacked.
