Leon is shopping for a NY Deli roast beef on rye. Sims is a hot pocket.

Sims had his best season for the tanking Bucks playing 19min a game. with career highs for rebs' and Pts. 5.5 rebs and 5 pts.
Hot pocket or Crustable, he would be 3rd string. This is what 2.5mil buys these days. One might have to make an assumption that with more minutes he gained experience and poise? His contract also runs out this year.

Logic dictates given extensions to others and with just 13 roster spots taken with many questions to be answers such as Deuce and Nickel there is a trade to be made. What that is remains to be rumored.

August is kind of a vacation month for Front offices to some extent. Im only guessing Leon is not neglecting the need and has irons in the fire to not leave Knicks with two centers. Drummond might not be washed up but at age 33 played a solid 19 min avg himself and had nice numbers over 63 games. KAT won't play 82 games and yes we need another player who can in a pinch play.

Yo hot pockets can be the bomb at 3am after a night of drinking, let us not diminish the hot pocket delight factor

Ideally would want to swap Deuce with a backup PF who can slide over an play 3rd C as well. Slide Mo more towards a 3/4 for the upcoming season.

Problem is can't really identify that player given the need to match salaries or availablility.

With Denver trading away Peyton Watson.

Swapping Deuce for DaRon Holmes II & 2nd rounder(s) makes sense for both teams.

Really liked Holmes coming out of the draft. Going into his 3rd season after missing his entire rookie year with a freak injury during workouts after the draft. Should start to establish himself as a rotational guy.

Deuce would be a nice fit around Joker in Denver who now needs upgraded guard depth.

Holmes is a 6'9 PF who missed a full year and only played 25 games last year? I think Deuce is worth a lot more.

Denver is in second apron hell and Deuce will be an UFA at the end of the year. They just traded away Payton because of the exact circumstance unfortunately.

I leave it up to Rose for the particulars of the deal and compensation etc. And I'm mostly projecting what I feel Holmes will turn into starting this season, because again I liked him coming out of the draft and his projected skill set. Def believe he can slide between PF & C.

Nuggets couldn't afford to pay Watson 20mil this season and hit apron penalties for this season. With Cameron Johnson's $23mil coming off the books at the end of the season. He is most likely not in the long terms plans for the team. Especially at his current rate unless he brings his game to another level. That opens up the cap to retain Deuce after this coming season.
