As sometimes happen, a variety of good developments occurred with Brunson sitting.

KAT and Deuce got on track, the ball is moving again, better team cohesion in the 4th than last quarter

Hawks are trying hard so they'll have to keep their foot on the pedal

JB can come in soon and help close it out

This is not championship quality PG play by Brunson

Knicks Defense was the primary differential tonight

They can play better defense, but it was good defense in the 2nd half

Otherwise, our talent was greater even if our execution was erratic

Defense will erase offensive mistakes overall, but they have to play smarter and not think they did anything special as a team tonight

Brunson 28 Points on 9-22

KAT with 25 points on 6-13

This is not going to work against the best teams

Brunson needs to get his head right and work off KAT more, not the other way around

KAT's passing game was mostly sub-par tonight, but I think that is attributable to him not being involved in the offensive sets like he should be. He only found some flow in the last minutes of the game.

Brunson seemed interested in working with KAT the first 2-3 minutes of the game and then it was like he forgot he was there. It doesn't make sense

They looked gassed by the 4th quarter. They don’t have a lot of depth just 13 points total out of their entire bench.
