So nice gotta post it twice

That was a nice "meandering" pick by Huk.

He accidentally made a good play for once. I am so down on Hukporti. Mo also had a great drive to the hoop and Huk moved out of the dunkers spot at the last minute for no reason at all causing Mo to turn it over. Huk has become a huge liability after a promising rookie year and probably is gone after this year.

The rest of his game will round out. Imagine Siakam with a 3pt shot? And Siakam developed much later than most players. MO having this impact at 20, against elite teams is special.

You are absolutely right. Mo is a guy who if Rose can figure out how to keep him around 4 years from now when the Brunson window officially closes Mo doesn’t make a full scale tank and rebuild necessary. He’s that special.

Guys like Hart bring playoff energy every game. He is actively pursuing the ball on every possession. His energy affects games on a regular basis. It makes him a + during the season. Most people get injured playing with that kind of frenetic injury. So during the regular season, they don’t. In the playoffs, everybody gets after it or they get knocked out quick. They “learn” what playoff basketball means.

Mo needs to learn what playoff basketball means. To play with that kind of energy AND maintain precision. I hope they give him minutes this playoff round early so he understands the difference. Guys like Deuce got that playoff experience and they rose to the occasion. Mo can too. I want to see him after his playoff moment. The fact that Mo is an RFA means we may have to pay dearly to keep him. But I think it’s worth it.

The Alvarado / Bridges / OG / Diawara / KAT 5 - Man lineup has pretty ridiculous stats. The kind that make you go hmm. Small sample set - 30 mins total, but enough that I want some Mo!

I’ve noticed this with my own eyes. No stats needed. This 5 is really good!

I really really like MO’s potential. If he hits, he gives me pascal/tmac vibes . He’s super young, for him it’s conditioning and working on his consistency. He gives me superstar vibes, when they put the ball in his hands. He very well could mature into the missing piece. He already is a very good on ball defender he can guard 1-5 and has the ability to play point forward.

But again that’s if he hits his full potential and this coaching staff gives him the opportunity. Was disappointed when we took him out of the rotation. but also understand why.

Also off topic, the Knicks also have a real one in Tyler Kolek . He’s a really good back up pg. I feel like he got kinda a raw deal when we traded for Jose.

The youth is nice, even the potential that pacome shows in small flashes is exciting.hulk is a backup on most teams.
Kevin showed flashes .

I imagine we lock up Mo on a cheap deal similar to McBride.

I like the way you said it, Kolek is a real one.

Jose has brought some value so I don't want to run him down just because I'm a Kolek fan.

But for the life of me I don't see how Jose is better at all. Maybe a few steals better, but as a PG? Hell no

I do hope Tyler gets a real shot next year

Mo, yeah, his upside could be nuclear, but that may be up to him in a sense. He has to want it and to work on his game like a demon. If he has that Kobe desire inside of him he will be an outright killer

Do we really think that professional scouts and front offices can't look at tape of the minutes Mo has had on the floor?
Do we really think that we, as Knick fans, are privy to some secret that the best in the business who are paid lots to find advantages for their respective teams don't know?

I think he is a talent. However, other teams have promising young players and incoming draft picks, g leaguers, and free agents to evaluate too. Plus with limited rosters and salary caps other teams may not be as able to try to bring Mo onto their teams. Knick may also draft some more wings with this draft having three picks. I think MO is interesting but I doubt he is being hidden.

Yeah my guess is just prioritizing the playoffs rotations etc. And probably Mo had enough juice to glimpse a looksie and then curtailed when enough of the flaws or just plain experience caught up.

Not at all. I just agree with Windy that these subtle shenanigans happen even if it won’t make a difference at the end of the day.

Need upgraded frontcourt depth more so than wings.
