I don't feel like researching it, but I suspect that among the Top 10 teams this year we may have among the most blowout wins and blowout losses.

IOW, my assumption is when we play well we often win by higher margins, but more than most of the other good teams we also suffer more embarrassing losses.

I could be wrong, but the average margins wouldn't convey that if I am correct. They'd smooth it over.

What are the chances CHA Knocks out DET and PHI Knocks out BOS in the first round?

I can see CHA giving Detroit a run for their money, especially with Cade and the lung thing. Boston should sweep Philly

This may sound a bit crazy since we already have 9 man rotation but I think Brown needs to start integrating jeremy schoen and Kolek to lineup. Deuce isn't going to immediately ready after long layoff and Shamet is too injury prone.

I feel Schoen versatility is going to be needed, especially if the Knicks run into teams like Det and Boston. If the last couple of weeks have taught us anything is that the Knicks desperately need a playmaker out there. The Alvarez does a good job of being just that, and so does Kolek. Thats what the Knicks need out there. The ball sticks too much on Brunson's hand.

I wanna believe. This lineup is deep enough to make a run and play with energy every minute.

I am at the point where I want to see fresh legs more than wins. 10 games left.

Kind of want to see what Sochan brings. And hoping Deuce gets back soon.

Brunson / Alvarado / Kolek
Bridges / Deuce / Clarkson
Hart / Shamet / Dadiet
OG / Diawara/ Sochan
KAT / Robinson / Huk

They could move this around for some better positional size, but I love the depth.

You know I gonna spin wit it

2 months is no fluke...Props to Brown and the coaching staff...many believed we could never be a top 5 defense let along #1 with Brunson and Kat in the same lineup

By many metrics this team has increased its pace and offense over last year,
and is playing top tier defense. Perhaps tops based on what ever cut off one picks.
Im not sure what Twitter post to use these days but we can at least say they are damn good defesneive team currently and heading to the playoffs.
For those that yearn for the good old days, this is as good as it gets.
For all the distain we spend on Mikal, he is a member on this team. As mentioned to have this with KAT and Brunson on teh floor one has to say Brown has really done a great job thus far.
They managed minutes with a deeper bench and not only have good back ups, but have very good 3rd string players to step up giving days off to guys. HuK does not have his coaches confidence but with Diawara and then Sochan we have been able to reduce minutes some to OG an Mikal and one has to think that could factorin later.

THibs was able to succeed wringing out about every last drop from his team. He did a great job in that aspect. Brown seems to have taken a lot of what was working but expanded on some other areas. outside of Brunson, WE don't have anyone in the top 25 of avg per game minutes. https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/nba-minutes-per-game-leaders-this-season. None of this matters if we bounce out before the finals. Expectations are high. As others have intimated that is not always likable and we don't perhaps get the top seed.

Leads to the question: If there is a parity amung that lower rung of playoff teams, is there really the incentive to be the top seed as there was in the past? We don't get upsets very often but things are changing perhaps? Some of those teams are doing really well of late.

On a side note, kudos to some of the older dudes in the league still putting up big minutes when they do play!
Lebron Avs 33min per game, Durant second in the league. Duran and Harden still getting it done.
At 31 This has been a bad season for Giannis. They either being really cautious with him and its a aberation season, or he is starting to break down. Im not 100% this is a guy you break the bank for anymore?

I know that constructive criticism could be great for improvement. But we are blaming Bridges, right in the middle of this year's great run so far. While we are gearing up for the playoffs. We know he can turn it up when it counts. He will have to deliver, of course, like he has been so far in the postseason for us.

Francesa same line for a year now “Knicks biggest problem is dey can’t play defense with both Brunson and KAT on the floor together”. Well they figured it out

So I suppose the next step is consistency. If we can sustain #1 defense and #6 offense throughout the season and the playoffs= that's the ticket 🎟️

The first one is not impossible the hornets seemed to have hit on something with this current starting lineup.

Yessir

Consistency, and then the Knicks need an on court Alpha who decides that the team is going to win and he will burn down everything to get there.
