Fun game. I love these come back wins. Knicks have been taking care of business. This team has completely changed the narrative.

Sweet ending. Kolek obviously a big headline, and DPOG Jemison very deserving of his kudos. I was a bit disappointed by Huk tonight. Some good things defensively, but rebounding concerned me. He was too easy for Indy to box out, and when the ball broke his way, seemed like he had Teflon hands tonight. My high hopes for Dadiet this season have all but eroded.

Cap doing Cap things. Hits the game winner and his first comments after the game were "I was garbage."

Was absolutely thrilled it ended with the OG steal...Siakam tends to get the better of him. Great moment.

Just remember who believed in this kid when his time to have a Kolek like breakout comes along. I still stand by my previous stance that this kid is the 2025 1st rounder that the Nets think they got from us. I wouldn't be surprised if he's ready for the 3/4 backup spot after the trade deadline. I like the future of this team, we could potentially keep this thing rolling after our current starting 5 age out. Kolek/Deuce/McCullar/ Diawara/Huk could potentially be a part of our future core 5 years down the road.

Ditto.

I really like Mo, think it'll take him until next year to get more consistent minutes and whatnot but he has the goods IMHO, just has to put it together a bit more.

Pascal Siakam type prospect, prob more passing and ball handling than scoring but who knows. Can't wait to see how he fills out.

Still one of the youngest guys in the league.

This is first time I enjoyed listening to him.

That sounded more real than he sometimes comes off and really good to know how highly he thinks of Kolek as a SCORER which I don't think most of us have thus far. Kolek must really be showing some scoring chops in off-season, workouts and practices that we've only seen flashes of thus far.

Somewhere there is a thread KOLEK HAS NO BAG and that was a concern of mine --- but we only get to see the limited minutes thus far -- kid is obviously tough, confident and I guess that BAG is growing daily now.

Yeah I'm getting Thibs flashbacks of talking about how good Deuce is shooting in practice while hitting 30% from the floor in games

At this level he had to be quicker. He is doing it. Loved the read to get the screen from Huk and do his thing in the paint. Very Brunson like.

Could make Deuce expendible? Love the kid but its about getting something in return that would fill another need. His contract and level of play is a value asset. Paired with Mitch your getting closer to 20 mil salary. Or Using him and dumping Yabu for a Portis type (He makes 13mm). Not quite a match but POrtis off the bench would work in the role. Just spitballing here. Im not thrilled about losing deuce but the path to a chip might be without him.

As for Yabu? its unfortunate. Not that 5mm is a big number but we need all players at all levels in synch if we going to make a legit run.

Kolek does look stronger this year.

I've always thought that Brunson was just built tough, like he got that big head going on and you need a strong body and legs just to hold that noggin up.

Well, Kolek measured out at combine as just a smidge taller than Brunson, 2 pounds lighter. So he's within the same level at similar ages, which is wild to me cause I wouldn't have thought that.

Gutsy win! That was all will and heart! You know the players partied in Vegas after winning that Cup. You could see it on their faces. So amazing win coming back down 15 in the 3rd. The Cap struggled, especially in that 4th quarter, and had that bad turnover where the ball went off his foot with about a minutes left but Captain Clutch redeemed himself and hit the game winning 3. He's amazing! So blessed and lucky to have him!!

Game ball goes to Kolek! I honestly did not expect much production or a role for him this season but Brown needs to find as many minutes as he can for this kid cause he is playing so well and he makes the team better. We knew about his passing but he's been showing some advanced iso scoring abilities I didn't know he had! That left behind the back cross over and pull up was nice! Goes to further prove how useless the summer league is!

Hats off to guys like Jemison, Hukporti and Diawara. All stepped up and made some key plays! Mikal with 22, Clarkson with five threes off the bench and OG with some big threes in the 4th too.

Freaking HATE Indiana so this was sweet!!!

You have a good eye for talent

Barring any unforeseen obstacles or a lack of determination, Diawara has the potential to be a two-way terror. If at some point down the road either OG or Bridges are no longer on the team, Diawara should be groomed to take one of those slots.

One of the closest comparisons to his upside was the guy he played against last night, Siakam. And Siakam was a nobody once too.

The real story tonight and the cup games is the emergence of Kolek… this guy is a absolute baller, he is so good to have on the court with or without the captain… you can tell he’s learned a lot from Brunson and when there on the court together it’s like your getting a double dose of Brunson. Ones a mvp and the other can score like him and is a pure pg getting everyone involved.

This kid is really earning his minutes. He’s a great team player, and is a QB out there … sometimes we struggle with ball movement and this kid is the answer to that issue …

Super happy for Kolek especially when a lot of us wrote him off as having no bag.

When I talked to a Sixers fan I work with after we signed him, I asked him if Yabsule was any good and he didn't even speak, he just looked down at the floor and nodded his head NO.

It’s the glasses, right?

There's that, his "handsome, but could be mean" looks and his frame. He looks strong and fit. He may be the Anti-Yabusele

He looks like Mike Brown's kid to me - same face to a degree.

Thing with Jemison that jumps out is the sturdiness, the physicality -- kind of old school limited offensive player but he's going to set great screens, contest, box-out, defend post and just bring some physicality we lack. Hopefully we find someone more seasoned but at least this kid brings it when he gets a chance. Huck sometimes looks too soft now and hacking/wacking too often.

I get the vibe Jemison can play intelligently and do the dirty work effectively. Huk plays hard and has the wingspan to disrupt on defense, but he's kind of a clueless puppy dog out there. I'd like to see Brown do some more test runs with Jemison to see if he can stick. Bangers with good ball IQs are good bench pieces to have and develop.

Has he missed a shot all year?

Scored his first points of the season tonight. Think he played a whole 10 minutes on the year before tonight

Ok, I was thinking of preseason. He had a couple of 3-for-3 days.

Agree on Huck - all of a sudden he doesn't look like he can throw a layup/hook in the ocean and the butter fingers on breakaway dunk.
He's very quick but not using it enough to position for offensive rebounds and just too handsy on D leading to high foul counts.

He seemed more comfortable with role under Thibs and thought he played more violently last year (with force).

Yes on the Deuce stuff. On Kolek I like that he 3-point shot is flat footed and he's showing an ability (particularly off the catch) to get rid of the shot quickly but with solid form, arch and results.

Just looks like a grinder who's work is paying off -- baby Brunson.

Was so impressed with the pass to Bridges under hoop from 3-point line I had to watch it again.

Very similar to the pass he made to OG in tourney championship game. He's dribbling with right-hand but able to whip the ball with great pace to open shooter/dunker. He's been so lefty dominant thus far I didn't think he could make these type passes going to his right.

Would seem a solid fit next to Kat.
