9 in a row! F Danny Ainge! Always nice to beat that clown and those Mormons!

Josh freaking Hart! Another triple double with 15/14/12! He's more than just a role player. There has to be a category for players who aren't quite Super Stars but aren't just a role player either cause Hart is just amazing at what he does. Loved that pull up 3 in transition and that dunk! Cannot believe we got him for Cam Reddish LMAO!

This might have been OG's best individual defensive game as a Knick cause he just handcuffed Lauri Markkanen and forced him to shoot just 6/22. Remember Markkanen dropped 34 points in that blowout loss against the Jazz earlier in the season and OG definitely remembered that and just played a little extra hard in this game. KAT with another 31/21 game. This hasn't been done since Ewing! And he did it against Kessler who is long and plays good defense. But KAT just did whatever he wanted. Bridges with 27 and kudos to Kolek! Plays in an OT game in Westchester and played some great minutes in this game. Plays with poise of a 10 year vet! We got a good one! . Team with another 30 assists, 34 fast break points which is crazy for us and Jazz shot just 40% from the field and 30% from three.

Next game is our midterm!

OKC may burn some of those picks and Dieng to grab Cameron Johnson (Nets) -- (to add shooting to their roster).

Strangely speaking, OKC is in a weird spot in that they may not have big enough contracts or at least need to be very judicious in who they target cause right now they only have so many contracts they can match up to the next big contract they take on. And Caruso doesn't kick in til next year or something.

But they are in the drivers seat in pick exchange along with Houston.

Yes - great quote.

It's a legit ? -- especially with Kat.

For ex. I've always thought with Celtics I'd rather Porzingis jacking 3's 25 feet out vs Brown/Tatum breaking us down and getting us in foul trouble. Same could be said for Kat but Kat is shooting so good/easy it's a tough call on how to guard him.

I love this Josh "Point" Hart. Josh has really leaned into being a creator. Has thrown some really impressive passes.

Knicks have not been feeling the 3 lately. I think will be tough against OKC if we're not hitting the 3.

Man I've been so impressed with Josh Hart and especially his play with the starters. He is such a high IQ player and then matches it with his unusual blend of strength, timing, and athleticism.

KAT and Brunson getting their due on the offensive end, OG on the defensive end, and Mikal has his blend of both in addition to this midrange flow.

But Josh is just the glue that binds and blends them all together - you know, one ring to rules them all, our other Precious - and fills all the gaps of whatever is needed. He is the literal Glue Guy holding everything together.

Sometimes he gets spazzy but especially against a weaker team like Utah, it just looks like the game is going so slow for him and he just picks his spots.

Hart is having his best year -- he's obviously been working off the court. Think I posted this a month or so ago but was listening to the Hart/Brunson podcast when Rick Brunson was the guest. Rick/Jalen were going pretty hard at Josh on his practice/pre=game effort. Josh said something like I'm ready when game starts at 7:30 and Jalen chimed in BUT are you ready at 11:30 (meaning are you on time at either early day shoot-arounds (at least that's the way I took it). Josh responded like -- OK I hear you. So I think these 2 have been on him to get in gym and improve his shooting/skills.

I give bulk of improvements to Kat -- he has opened up everything and Bridges hasn't hurt. If you think about 4 guys pulling the D out leaving paint free for Josh to attack and also the wide open 3's he's getting. Josh is making the shots but Kat with other guys ALL collectively helping each others stats out.

Need him to tweak something before next weeks game - don't need a 40/15 night in garden.

That team if Quick is playing great all of a sudden looks pretty solid. Quick/Dick (like that backcourt name) + RJ/Barnes/Poetl up front with some decent bench pieces and high pick in draft.

Poetl could be very nice add for Knicks - legit big who would fit with out style - outstanding rebounder and passer IMO.

So, that rule where they can go back to prior plays and rule a play out of bounds - is that for all plays? Only 3s? Caught me off guard. I’ve seen them rule a 3 a 2 instead of- foot on the line, but not an out of bounds. For me, that’s not a scoring decision, it’s a game call. Maybe the Knicks contest the inbounds from an out of bounds. Maybe they call a time out sooner to stop what amounts to a 10 point run. Maybe they challenge the call on the court (and lose a time out).

Seems weird

I wonder if it's one of those where the ref has to immediately signal to the scorers table or whatnot so that the review is official on next stoppage.

Can we please move the basket bases back another 10 feet for Kat and also maybe move the baseline front rows and camera guys back another 10 feet to give Kat free landing space.

Scares the hell out of me every time he drives and crashes and how do these guys not kill their hands on rim on some of these dunks.

They did it to us early this year on a Hart or Anunoby 3 as well. That was kind of a huge overturn, we had taken the lead and the Jazz called timeout, then out of the timeout we it was tied and the Jazz went on a big run.

I really dont like that rule because how are they picking and choosing what to look that? There's a lot of close calls. is this only for 3 pt shots on the line?

Man there just aren't too many defensive centers in the league that can both defend the 3point line - especially for a guy that is shooting 44% this year and 40% for his career - and then also be quick enough to recover for a straight line dunk like this. It's an insane ask especially when your spacers are all also shooting around 40% on the season.

This is very true. DDV had similar impact with his 3s. There is something about deep 3s off a east to west pass (not typical inside out 3) that is just back breaking for opposing defenses. There is nothing you can do to stop them, and they are "bombs away" style 3s that just invigorate a crowd and hold more weight. Steph Curry style 3s.

Josh Hart offensive rebounds are similar, where he just skies over the trees and muscles a rebound out of pure will. Those are "back breaking" plays that can snatch the soul out of the other team.

I'm still hoping we can pry Walker Kessler from him. Kid would be the perfect backup for KAT.

No longer certain if workable but would think if needed OKC could use pick treasure trove to involve a 3rd team to add salary for picks to make deal work (Pistons for example have some space).

But yes - good point. Like with Knicks the guys we could move for a legit player we don’t want to move and not much else to trade (Mitch/Precious/Deuce/etc)
