Dadiet looks fine to me...Even with some poor shots, he still ends with 3/6 from distance, and had a couple of assists.

This kid was well coached, plays D, moves the ball around, and plays under control, for the most part. Making his own shots will come in time. He will also develop physically, of course.

Given his age and limited experience I feel pretty good about him.

I said pre summer league this kids stroke is pure and then summer league hit and I wasn’t sure what we had.

The shot is pure but his confidence seems to go up/down quickly (understandable).

Thing I notice most is he;s tentative to really attack off the bounce where most American kids that’s the 1st thing they want to do. He gets knocked off balance on his drives —- give Knicks this season and a full summer to work on the body (strength) and attacking rim, getting to his pull up. He showed lots of stuff in Europe but strength in NBA is a huge jump. He’s legit offensive prospect and his D has shown flashes.

Good analysis...

Needs to visit the weight room, something overseas players frequently neglect, but at his age, he also has a lot of natural maturing that will make him stronger.

Didn't know who the f'k he was when we drafted him, but you can see he has talent, and at some point he'll be a solid starter.

Then again, I though Frank N. had potential, so I'm more subdued in my predictions these days.

Eh...I've been happy with him so far. His numbers are pretty good for the time he plays. Not a bad player to have on your roster.

BTW...you can do many things with a beaver...But cross-species breeding is not one of those things.

Don’t let Frank get you down, he didn’t have the confidence. Dadiet got all of it

Can you envision him in practice trying to do anything with the ball while smothered by OG or Bridges or Hart?

You know I gonna spin wit it

This is why basketball IQ is so important. Brunson has changed how he is playing and by proxy how the team plays on offense. This team passes so well that by the end of the game every starter is at like 15 pts and its not even forced. If we can just lock in on defense we will be a problem. Players who lack basketball Q would have had a tougher time changing from a playstyle that they have done for a long time.

No KD, no Beal vs the Knicks tomorrow

This is exactly why I think Knicks will trade Mitch.

He is fire on defense and a terror on the boards but he isn’t the most fluid or a learner on offense, and outside of setting picks, he is a detriment to what the other guys on the court can do in a more spacious paint area.

Add in Huk’s presence with Sims for middle D when Towns sits, that is enough at the C spot.

Mitch is extra extra side sauce that is so nice at 2am with the fried food after a night of salsa dancing and buckets of drinks but he can get you something else that you may need or duplicate a good thing.

If he was good for 65+ games, it may be different.
