It’s something to think about. When OG plays he’s fantastic, but elbow and then a hamstring in year one. You don’t want a situation like Paul George and Kawaii.

Randle has been injured the past 2 playoffs, he'll have alot of miles on him. I don't think it's nuts at all to suggest that we don't give him a mega contract 2 seasons from now when he's turning 32. Sometimes there are tough decisions made and its better to get let a guy walk a year too early then a year too late.

He's elligible for an ext this offseason so if we don't give it to him I think that would be pretty telling.

It's failure to think in terms of letting an all NBA player *walk*. Period. All the injuries included. Including the injuries that really have nothing to do with a player having wear and tear where you should know better.

Randle is 29.5yo today and he is not walking at 32. You would need to fire several layers of FO types who made that type of decision.

come on, Randle was on the block or available many times over the years according to reports. When has there ever been any reported interest in Randle in all these trades we tried to make or made?

Numerous beat writers have always said Randle has more value to the knicks than other teams.

Even going back to his FA days, NOLA signed him for the MLE, then we signed him for MUCH less than max. Right or wrong he's just never seemed to be coveted as a true all star.

Thibs has never signalled that he doesn’t love Randle. To the contrary, Thibs has shown that he is 100% invested in developing Randle to reach his maximum potential. Randle is in his prime. A 100% bought in Randle is a force to be reckoned with and Thibs and the FO know this. Randle on his meds is a total beast.

Thibs has never signaled he doesn't love any of these guys. Just saying with all of those guys on the same roster, wouldn't be crazy for Thibs to lean towards the crazy defense and shooting. Not saying Randle wouldn't get his mins, but would Thibs start to favor the Hart/Mikal/OG lineup to finish? He's had Hart finish games since he's been here no matter who's been on the team.
