I wanted Thibs to use deuce more, when the other guards are killing us. T thought there was opportunities for that but deuce shot is not reliable.
I haven’t watched a lot of DDV but from what I’m reading and seeing in highlights, he’s a 6’3 deuce that can shoot. That means Thibs will play him more especially in crunch time or with special defensive assignments. Can’t wait to see how Thibs manages these minutes and egos. As far as deuce goes, he’s still my guy. Hope he cracks the rotation (but I have my doubts) or used in a trade to bring in a star. Obi, deuce and others are nice guys and I only hope for the best in their basketball careers. Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland.

DDV came and delivered. He stayed healthy for us and fit in nicely over time.
Im sure we all wish we could have kept him but KAT is up next. DDV performed and won us over. KAT does the same we will love him too! |

It's easier to find dead eye shooters and burly PFs than a historically distance shooting 5 for sure

DDV was a Garden legend in the making but Shamet can probably do 90% of what he did for us on a nightly basis. He won't bring the same toughness and intangibles most likely but he can do the volume shooting part.
