This is so damn true. People worried about Obi's rebounding. I am just happy we get many transition pts when he plays. That is a tradeoff I will happily take with how hard our pts usually come(With a full team). Leaking is one of Obi's specialties. No way would I ask him to slow them down.

Yeah, you can’t expect Obi to put up rebounding numbers like Randle or other PF. He’s a transition player who scores and impacts the game with his running and not his rebounding. I like this change of pace substitution. But that’s up to thibs and his playoff rotation once Randle is back.

I've been happy with his development as a threat from deep, but his lack of perimeter D got Mitch in foul trouble & other players had to make up the rebounding deficit. He's great in transition, but appears to be a combo-forward whose lack of lateral quickness makes it impossible for him to be a SF, who also lacks the lower body, center of gravity, and strength to pound it out in the paint.

I've come to appreciate him and like his game more than when he first started playing for us, but his limitations are as noteworthy as his speed down the court and finishing ability.
