Heh...
I'm not sure how to respond to this post in a way that's 'just basketball' and conveniently forgets fans get into the head of players, coaches, execs, officials, the media, and fans of rival teams all the time.
But whatever.
I almost certainly preached patience about Frank. And I'd so it all over again.
Did I cite intangibles? I have no recollection of that.
I don't know what "Frank Part Deux" is or what it needs to be avoided. A lottery pick and a second rounder seems fundamentally different if you're somehow referring to expectations.
And I in no way, shape, or form suggested McBride's untradeable. I don't know why you even brought that up. If Philly is somehow compelled to request McBride in a Embiid trade, it was nice knowing you Miles.
The point remains - a second round pick has appeared in around 80 career NBA games. There is NOTHING to suggest he's peaked or any reason to think he has to be close to it.
And there is more than enough room to be patient and carry him on this roster beyond this year without compromising a single thing.
YOU're just close to giving up on him being anymore than he's shown offensively, if you haven't already. This isn't about anything more than that.
The roster spot is beside the point.
