19 assists. I guess those 30 assist games were a mirage. I guess we’ll find out tomorrow against the Bulls. Will 19 assists get it done for a win

I never was impressed by Noel performance as a 76er, OKC, or Knicks.
Noel & Burks never should've been resigned.
Bullocks chemistry with Randle & Barrett halfcourt game should've been resigned.
D.Rose & Taj Gibson chemistry with Quickley & Toppin should've been resigned.

Noel is a good back up C when he is healthy. He’s a tough dude. I really don’t understand what happened to him this year. Taj is just like the best value signing ever. I really hope he sticks around as an assistant when he’s cooked. Mitch, I just don’t see him as a necessary expense especially if Dallas or Detroit want him in a sigh and trade. We got it covered w/o him and he’s too slow and one dimensional imho. To me Randle is the problem his mood swings have to be exhausting and while i’m still standing behind Thibs, his sideline demeanor is getting really old. Those facial expressions are just ridiculous. I want more 30 assist games and Randle and his mental issues are pissing me off. Burks are Fournier are doing fine in the Randle less line up.

This was probably the most boring close game ever. I just get nothing from Burks making clutch plays at this point. And let's be honest, the excitement kind of died down when Randle came back. And I'm not one of those fans who thinks Randle is the worst player on the team but at this point in the season with nothing to play for, it just doesn't make any sense for him or the rest of the vets to play. It's not like you're going to increase their trade value and it's way too late to save their poor seasons. There is just no upside.

It's all about the kids and once again they all continue to end this season on a positive note. RJ had some nice drives on Iso's and hit 6/7 from the line but he really needs to play better defensively. Loved how IQ came out and sparked that first half lead. His playmaking is just night and day from earlier in the season. Mitch was a monster with 5 blocks and 4 offensive rebounds. Sims grabbed 8 rebounds. I really want Sims to be the backup 5 next season. And Obi with another sick reverse dunk and Deuce played alright.

Randle was exciting last year when we were winning. I'm not a fan of him either, he's had a bad year but he can also be rehabbed very easily IMO. The "upside" to all this is most of these guys will be back next year and they need to get this right and get better.

The "hope" is that Randle/RJ/Fournier/Mitch can take steps forward or play well enough to be moved for value. Another hope is we pick up where we left off with some of these guys like Obi/IQ/Grimes/McBride.

Cam will be back and in a contract year. He should be highly motivated (same with RJ).

I know the draft frustration with winning a bunch of these remaining games but going into the offseason with these guys playing well and chomping at the bit to get back at it may be more important than picking 10 vs. 12 but history hasnt been kind of us with that so we'll see

This is partly why IQ, McBride and Obi are in most of our productive lineups. They are continually pushing the ball. This is the only way we get easy baskets. Without pushing the ball and with Randle being so inefficient in the half court we always have trouble scoring.

Let's see .. Randle & Barrett were losing another 20 point lead again ..
Kansas 76-50 win over Miami showed Miami why Kansas are a top 1 team ..
And the Tar Heels 69-49 whipping told St. Peters to be happy they made it to the final 8 ..

A PF and a SF plays 35 min in a game, and only commits two fouls each in those 35 min, plus most of the time their fouls are from playing BULLY-Ball on offense. Either the Refs are blind, or they deserve DPY, or they are not playing defense. How many 24-6 runs have Randle & Barrett performed as Knicks?

The Knicks Ewing & Starks lost their chance to go back to the FINALS when Phil Quit, then the Knicks FO traded a winning Anthony Mason for a yearly injury-prone Grandma in 1996.
Carmelo Anthony has always been a 40 min Iso-BUM having super-star players like Iverson, Billups, Camby, Kenyon Martin, and Jason Kidd leadership to lead the team to a winning regular season.

I said many times during RJ Barrett rookie and 2nd season that Barrett's raw-raw talent are not a NBA starter, or a 30 min player. Barrett finally learned how to get the first step on his opponents to slash to the basket to score this season, but Barrett's defensive skills are still on a college level when defending NBA guards & Forwards.
Barrett has picked up to many of Randle lazy habits in his performance.
I feel sorry for all the teammates that plays in the lineup with Randle & Barrett!
I also said, coach Fizdale was a jerk for convincing a 5 turnover Randle he's a point-forward like Draymond Green.
And the Knicks FO, and coach Thibs are LOSERS for letting another (Carmelo) no-defense PF-Randle run the Knicks offense for 40 min a game. Randle is not a creative-offensive player.

Last season the Knicks were successful from having D.Rose creative leadership running the show in the 4th quarter.
D.Rose = Keeper
Taj Gibson = Keeper
Quickley = Keeper
MitchRob = Keeper
Obi Toppin = Keeper
Grimes = Keeper
McBride = Charlie Ward Keeper
Sims = Keeper
The rest of the Knicks roster, I would find their value by trade-offers
