Good point.

Another horrible 4th Quarter tank job.

We were up 87-73 up by 14 points but yet lose by 5 and get outscored by 19 in the 4th?

Can someone please explain to me...

Immanuel Quickley:
18 Points.
7/10 = FG (.700%).
4/7 = 3PT (.571%).
6 Rebounds.
4 Assists.
+9.
Exciting Defense.

Vs.

Evan Fournier:
16 Points.
6/17 = FG (.353%).
4/12 = 3PT (.333%).
2 Rebounds.
3 Assists.
-12.
Atrocious Defense.

But yet somehow Evan Fournier gets 31 minutes but I.Q only got 20 minutes?

I think it's true. Coach Thibs is trying to tank and lose on purpose (no other explanation).

Maybe secretly Thibs is a big fan of Jaden Ivey and want him on the knicks next year. 😂

Fournier signing is the worst contract since Noah.

I’m trying to figure out why we are constantly choking leads in games this past month. These aren’t just leads — we were crushing good teams on the road.

Our players look tired second half of games. Thibs has way overused his core veteran guys while refusing to play the younger players. He has done this before he had a reputation for it in both Chicago and Minnesota

Choking those leads is on both the players and the coach. When these teams are making a comeback Thibs needs to figure out a strategy to stop the bleeding (which he never does) and the players need to execute (which they never do).

I think the minutes stuff is over rated. Back in the day, guys in worse shape played more minutes and were able to do it. Players now should be able handle 36 minutes per game minimum when needed, unless injuries or age dictate otherwise.

I really like Randle but he is by far the most anti-clutch player I have ever seen. When the pressure is on it is either a stupid decision or a missed shot or a turnover. It has gotten to the point to me he is unplayable in pressure minutes. I expect him to screw up. He needs to get out of his own head and let the game come to him like last year.

I saw a stat that the Knicks are the first team in 25 years to blow 3 20+ point leads in a month. That says there is a repeatable and systemic problem that needs to be addressed.

I dont think this current line up will be able to win another game. Fortunately for the knicks both DRose and RJ will return soon. Unfortunately with those two coming back Deuce will only see action in the G League the rest of the season and Cam will start racking up DNPs.

Thibs is a great fit to coach an established team. His philosophy doesn't fit the current make up/strengths on this team.

Now is the time Leon should speak, knicks fans need to know the direction this team wants to go.

Yup, dug his own grave and kept digging with EXACTLY the same BS with EXACTLY the same results- never seen such a bizarre coaching streak since Larry Brown's changing his starting lineups based on what players were from the city they were playing. In fact Thibs coaching lately has been so bad, so non-sensical it makes it seem like he's pulling a Larry Brown and spiting the front office for making him have to play Kemba and Fournier earlier in the season.

How can Thibs honestly go from ranting at 15-20 games in (when we had a decent record) about how you can't just wait for things to turn around and you're going to have to make changes or the season will be over, to going to "you know what, I'm good- I'm sticking with this lineup forever"? Please, make sense of that for me?!

It seems like every post game interview Thibs says the same thing, "we have to play better" and every single game its the same starting line up, the same rotation, so for the most part the same results. Knicks bring beat by the "B" team!

Something has to give, Thibs needs to surrender and just play the kids! They might still end up not winning the game but seeing the kids play is better that what we are seeing now. Sit Kemba, Evan and burks. Im sure the kids will give extra effort, just look at what Obi did in less that 10mins!

Leon Rose needs to get out of hiding and calm the knicks fans down.

I like this post. It's not in game minutes that are the big issue. IF the players are getting burned out it's usually because the practices are too grueling and there's not enough time to recover.

a big aspect of this bad streak is our "best" player is a choke artist. Even last year when he was playing like a superstar you couldn't trust him in clutch moments. When he has the ball in his hands in those moments he'll dribble off his leg, or into a double team, or throw a bad pass. ANd for a guy who is supposed to be a bruiser he takes a lot of bad fallaways.

and i think it all flows from that. We need a real alpha to keep us organized and keep a fighting spirit. We don't have a guy on the team that does that at the moment.
Maybe RJ someday. Thibs to some extent tries to do that but has his flaws mostly revolving around stubborn loyalty to the vets.

I'm really glad martin hasn't bothered to update the home page with this game.
Maybe we could just skip it and wait until the Heat beat the living **** out of us for 4 quarters.

Holy ****, we really suck. The 1-11 Nits. No KD, No Kyrie, No Simmons.

"Everything's on the table" Like a pile of vomit.

Following that gem, he also said, "minutes will be merit-based and he will not give minutes just to give minutes. If a guy is playing well, he plays and if the team is functioning well while he's on the floor he should play..."

Basically, the same **** he has been saying all year. But his actions and words are in conflict. Most if not every metric says the team doesn't function well, especially defensively with Kemba on the floor, yet he continues to play. Most metrics place us towards the bottom in 4th quarter production, yet we roll out the same lineups over and over. Alec Burks has been a train wreck for weeks....We can go on and on. In the end, I do not expect our kids (Obi, Cam, Deuce) to get a bump in minutes until we are mathematically eliminated from the 10th seed Hope I am wrong but I just don't see it...

I felt beat up last night. Do u know the odds of what we did losing 3 games in a 2 week stretch while leading by 20 points? Id rather just have been wiped out in all those games.

RIP Crushalot😞
