Why does sweets look depressed all the time?

Cuz they're calling fouls on him every time he breathes.

"No exhaling in the paint! Offensive foul."

Disappointing loss. This team showed up in the 4th. I was impressed by how hard they tried to fight back, but as the announcers pointed out, moral victories don't cut it anymore.

Sweetney has not been getting any borderline call to go his way.

One of the borderline call that comes to mind in the game, Jermain basically body slams penny out of bounds while going for the loose call, and it's called out of bounds on NY.

Yeah....totally a foul that was not called.

Good to see the Knicks bounce back in the 4th and come back. They got no contributions from 2 of their starters (Craw hurt and I don't need to name the other).

What makes me even more upset, that would have been his 6th foul!

Marbury finishes with 37 points and 5 assists. I guess on a bright side, those are some GREAT fantasy numbers.

If moral victories counted as half of a win we would be 3-1 right now. I think that, for not having Crawford out there, we really gave them a great fight in the end. How sad is to see another game we could've won against a top team slip away. We didn't play well in the beginning, but we showed up at the end and had a lot of chances. In this game you could see how much Marbury has changed. This wasn't this year's Marbury today, it was emergency Marbury. It was him trying - and doing it- to keep us in the game and give us a chance to win. He had no Crawford and a pathetic TT begging to be traded, so he had to step up. It makes you appreciate those other games where he has concentrated more on distributing the ball than scoring.

Great offensive game by Nazr, if he could only show up every game and play more D... Trade TT, please! JYD should've played more than him!

Sad to lose this game...

So, how many times before the next time are we going to hear "Trade TT"? Trading him now would be the one move I would disagree with Isiah for. Just like Curry, his trade value is extremely low. He is a much better player than he is playing like right now, and we should be able to get someone of good value, especially with his soon to be expiring contract.

Hey don't get mad. I don't want TT to get traded now because I know it would not be a smart thing to do. I just write the "trade TT!!" as a way to express all the frustration one can get by watching him play lately. Better than writing a big post about how frustrating TT has been lately, I just say "trade TT". When or if it happens at all isn't my bussiness, its Isiah's. I can only say that he has been so frustrating that its sad. And on a game like this where we needed more scoring options with Craw out, he was a no-factor.

it's a shame Marbury doesn't feel a need to play defense just because he's a good offensive player. He can be such a good defender with his strength. Isn't it up to the coaches to get these guys to play harder on defense!

If Crawford is back I really believe that we can win our next game. NY has to play better in the early quarters, unlike today. Still we had a great chance, and who knows what would've happened with Craw there. Anyway, my point is that, with this NY team I thing that we can win any game no matter who we are against. Not that we will, but we can. We have enough offense to stay in the game and this team can play defense when they focus on it. Sure, Nazr has to improve there, and TT is still awfull, but with this particular Knicks team I don't think you can count them out before a game just because of their opponents. Sure some teams are very tough, but this team is special, and it will be more once we get that important piece to the puzzle: a young and effective true center.
