If both of these guys could figure out offense (outside of dunking for Mitch), watch out

So nice, post it twice.

Can’t be happier for Bullock and how his team has obviously rallied around him.

But WTF is that last dude trying to do with the whiplash push to Reggie’s neck!

Let's be honest, feels like the first time all year a Knicks guard realized it was as easy as just throwing the ball near the rim when you had Robinson in the area. And we can be honest again: half of Franks alley oop assists to Robinson were probably shots that were just that far off

Frank had himself a game and a pretty stat line finally. Happy for him to get that dunk and show some bravado also. So he does have it in him. He just needs to let himself shine more. Perhaps the second unit role lets him be most confident and comfortable. He can turn himself into something in this league.

It was a great day for the Knicks. Mitchell and Frank were tremendous and the Knicks fans did the team proud by welcoming Melo.

Great atmosphere last night in the arena. Good to see the appreciation for Melo and a more so a win. Frank had his monthly out of body experience game. Hope he does not go back into hibernation. It is great seeing him with some emotion. Mitch was feasting with lack of Portland's help defense. He is so athletic. Morris took over the third and gave us the big lead. Two big things not mentioned, by most, were Bullock and Portis coming out in second half and lighting it up from three. Think they went 6 for 9. Randle had another strong game. Big difference is now that the vets are hitting their shots. When you look at Bullock being added and Ellington coming back, you start to see the make up of a decent 3pt shooting squad. I hope we keep making our shots and if so, dare I say, we may be able to make a run. Think we will surprise some on this road trip.

Agreed...running more PNR had helped a ton...Also, Portlands defense was terrible.

The thing is that we saw Frank run the PnR with KP with efficiency as well. For some reason Fizdale took it out of his hands and wanted Randle and Morris run the point.

He ran with Gobert and the other big beautifully... and not also the straight P&R.. just the two man game in general.

I think coming off the bench behind Payton is great. He should be earning his minutes like he did last night and the coach will clearly reward him. When Frank plays like that he's a high impact player. Like really high. Problem is its too rare but this is what you look for in young players. You see the flashes. Now put it all together. He was amazing last night.

Hell... maybe this ends up being Frank's role. A 6th man who can change games. Lock guys down, play 1,2,3... hit big shots, finish games, play with shooters, slashers, whatever

I'm not saying this in a bad way, but we rush to anoint frank after every good game and then he does not follow up with sustained play. Keep expectations low. He handled his being moved to the 2nd unit very well. Dare i say it, he looks happier outside of being counted upon in the starting unit.

I agree his future looks like a 3 and D type perimeter player off the bench.

PS: It was fun watching him try to guard Melo

Frank has a nice role now and this has to be the first time I have seen a coach play over 10 guys correctly since Hubie brown

That’s what we have been trying to say about Frank. He doesn’t need to be a starter or a bigtime point guard, he still serves a good role for this team going forward. Plus he is still young and still is developing his offense

Well because of the rookie contract he is on there is still the looming calculus of what his value is/will be.

How much are we paying to keep a guy who is "not a starter or bigtime" guy?

And are we blinding ourselves to better options out of the DESIRE TO SEE OUR HOMEGROWN SUCCEED.

There are those commercials where "Just OK is not OK" you don't want to pay for "Just OK"
