Poor excuse...Wizards were down 8 players ..we were up double figures in the 1st quarter at home.

So many PGs, so little scoring.

I thought there might be an announcement of a trade. I was really surprised he didn’t play. He has been splitting minutes with Knox recently.

Not an excuse but stating facts. We don't have enough consistent perimeter shooting. We can't do anything without perimeter shooting. I thought Randle would be a good perimeter shooter but he is doodoo. Dotson is distant 2nd perimeter shooter but is not consistent enough. Knox is a tease.

Really need to cut the rotation from 10 to 8 or 9. DSJr should not be playing.

Yup. Payton is nice but not quite there. He is an outside shot away from being a complete PG. I am a big Frank fan but I am getting to the point where I am getting pissed when he drives and instead of looking to score first he always looks to pass. DSJr is just doodoo right now.

This would be an ideal thing to do to get the rust off and maybe polish what is left of the jumpshot.

I think I read someplace - and it was either a guess or an insinuation at best by the author - that the Knicks kinda/sorta want to go that route but DSJr won't buy in. Player of his experience level needs to OK it.

Also read within the last few days that DSJr has exactly 1 dunk on the season and I was shocked to read it. Whoa

If that is the case then I am liking DSJr even less now

His college rep is starting to unfold in not a good way.

Saw a bunch of videos of DSJr participating in dunk contests this summer, and while this doesn't really mean squat, I don't know why a professional would risk anything for an event like that.

And it's clear that his athleticism and/or back is off. Why risk it?

Not sure what is going on with that dude, and outside of maybe 1 game this season, he has seemed detached and miserable on the court

He does. Every time they pan to the Knick bench he is sulking at the end of the bench.

You mean so much for this roster? Lol

Well if you allow for irony and add in reality I guess you could say so much for everything. The little bump we got as fans by the coaching change seems to not have addressed anything. So who does the mob string up now? Mills, Perry? Dolan? I say we toss the negative fan base and media into that equation. It's all part of a stinky culture. As far as the roster goes well yeah of course, but it's interesting that that players like THJ and Mudiay whom the mob cornered are contributing players on better teams. So it's the whole.

For me it's not too interesting that those players are "contributing". On the Knicks they were starters and asked to be leaders to a degree. THJr has come off the bench as much as he has started and he is the 3rd best player AT BEST on that team. And Mudiay is exactly where he should be, off the bench where he is the worst player in most any lineup he is a part of.

Are they contributing? Sure. Are those teams winning because of them? Not really, they are just playing the roles they should and were asked and expected waaaayyyy too much on the Knicks.

And I agree. My only point by that is that the entire roster is not "garbage."
