Phil Jackson asked for Devin Booker and the #4 pick in return. That's the excuse gave or implied but all he did was go to his mother's house. What kind of crisis could there possibly have been? It seems pretty clear that the only crisis was with him and he felt the need to run home to his mother. How is that better than what KP is doing in the offseason? Now the joy of my world is in Zion
How beautiful if nothing more
Than to wait at Zion's door
I've never been in love like this before
Now let me pray to keep you from
The perils that will surely come

Phil Jackson asked for Devin Booker and the #4 pick in return. Again an attempt to justify hypocrisy. Bottom line: they both behaved badly and as such both are deserving of criticism. To criticize the one and not the other is the height of hypocrisy. When viewed in a vacuum I would agree Rose's actions were worse and if your argument was that Rose deserves harsher criticism I would agree But that is not your argument. Instead you simply dismiss KP's behavior as not deserving of criticism - hypocrisy However, when viewed in context, I would actually argue that yes KP's behavior was worse than Rose's. Rose actually had a reason for leaving and showed remorse for his actions by apologizing upon his return. KP on the other hand had absolutely no valid reason for blowing off the exit meeting. Unlike Rose he has shown no remorse for his behavior and has in fact doubled down. This shows arrogance and a complete disdain for and disrespect of the organization.Disgraceful. |

I haven't stated one about Rose or KP so hypocrisy is literally impossible. You're got such a head of steam about this you're responding to a conversation that hasn't actually occurred I asked a question. When viewed in a vacuum I would agree Rose's actions were worse and if your argument was that Rose deserves harsher criticism I would agree But that is not your argument.
