KP has to be able to rebound better. That and staying out of foul trouble would fix a lot. No way he can play the 5 the way he boards.

Thats how the original post came across- there seems to be a mentality sometimes that our young players are either gods or busts and there can be nothing in between. I have no idea what KP will become, I do know he's way beyond what I expected of him in year 2 (I thought he'd average 7pts 5rebs his first few years when we drafted him), just sit back and see what happens.

Perhaps your frustrations with the Knicks are being projected unfairly on to KP. Are there some flaws? Yes. Are there areas that require improvement? Undoubtedly. In two years, when he presumably has defensive help, he won't need to step aside for fear of fouling out and will be stronger. He's a unique talent yet like so many young talents-needs time and a cast of other talents to reach his potential.

He looked very frustrated in person last night, not happy with losing. I think he's gonna go nuts this offseason to come back and crush next year.

Guys that have mentioned KP possibly wanting to leave or things to change and addressing it with his agent, Begley, Bobby Marks, Zach Lowe. The Knicks need to figure things out soon.

Basically a huge part of "figuring it out" will really boil down to getting some luck in the draft. Here's hoping. We got dropped down last time we were in the lottery... maybe it's our turn to move up.
