I wish Phil had simply let Jeff run what he wanted. The team could use more spread offense with no Post player. Bogut is basically ignoring Noah and that would change if you ran a 4 Out set and had Noah setting the picks up top for Rose. The lane would be open and the 3pt shot would be there.

Guys ignoring Noah on offense is a huge problem. I think the Knicks need to consider a line up change to get more balance. Not sure what that would be.

You can play with a non scoring big!!! GS did it with Bogut and Jeff with Plumlee. That's why I wanted the Knicks to run more of Jeff's offense! He knows how to do this!

Then they need to do it. Until then guys are going to play off him and throw block parties.

I thought he was a different player last year in terms of looking for teammates... He also played in the Olympics, where he was used to being more of a complimentary player, so I'm surprised that he hasn't played more like last season.

In the Olympics they're are enough players better than him to keep his ego in check plus there was coach K. Last year he did have some good games, but given the volume of selfish me first play his entire career there was no reason to think that would be a permanent change.

I cannot teach anybody anything. I can only try to make them think - Socrates

I have to trust that if we see it, so does Jeff. It's so obvious what teams are doing.

Nice call from Horny starting Holiday to start the 2nd half and benching Noah. KP having trouble with Barnes and Holiday doing a much better job.

Holiday has certainly not been just a throw in, in the Bulls trade.

Melo ball has allowed us to extend the lead along with good defense. Matthews is a good defender but too small to guard Melo on the block. Knicks exploiting it. That's smart.

Looking more comfortable and confident on offense...and he's doing a very good job on Barnes because he has quickness and length.

Pretty happy with him these days.

Knicks getting some home cooking here, finally. Woof. What an ugly game.

Like the move by Hornacek to replace Noah with Holiday

Knicks playing better in this quarter.
Looks like the starting lineup change helped.

More spacing and more team speed on defense.

Problem long term with a lineup like this is KP ain't ready to play 5 full time.

Maybe the starting lineup should be:

DRose
CLee
Holiday
Melo
KP

Much more active D and better spacing on offense.

Hooooooooooolidaaaaaaaay! Celebraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate!

Holiday with the excellent block on Barnes on his jump shot then runs the break for the layup.

Kudos to Horny. The lineup change/2nd half adjustment has been the difference. We haven't seen much of that from our coaches the last 2 years.

They can still use the concept going forward. Doesn't have to be for the whole game.
