I guess Phil wants this because they want him correcting his mistakes now vs developing bad habits. I get that, but the lack of flow in minutes is also hurting his flow. He's been out of flow. Either way, I do want Rambis to be hard on him. You want KP to take good shots, to try to elevate his game on both ends. However I'd like a little more playing time for him. He's not going to get a flow the way Rambis has been yanking him.

he took a three ... they not happy ... want hooks

I know you get on the Triangle all the time, you get on everything (outside of Lopez) and have preconceived theories. He was not yanked for the 3 ball, he took a 3 ball early in the game and didn't get taken out. He got taken out for what I believe was poor defense on one end and then taking a quick shot (long 2). I know you'll say our poor half is the Triangle, yet we shot the ball at 50 percent. We scored 49 points on 38 shots, which is not bad. It's speed - a lack of - and a lack of defense.

If you look at advanced statistics, they show Porzingis is much better when shots are created for him than creating his own shot. And the one area where he actually creates his own shot pretty well? The post.

They're absolutely right in what they're telling KP to do. What I disagree with is the minutes. You don't bench him that quickly. It can hurt confidence and flow. Unless you feel the kid is supremely confident and won't be affected. We'll see in the 2nd half.

I trust Rambis tough love approach. KP has the right mentality to take it and use it to get focused.

56 points on 40 shots and I believe something like 52 possessions. That's good offense. It's our defense and lack of speed guys.

It's simply inexcusable to be out hustled play after play after play.

Rambis certainly has KP looking over his shoulder and playing tentatively.

Interior defense has been dreadful all night.

And even Clyde said it earlier, Knicks don't push the ball or attack; they just walk it up and run their halfcourt. You cannot be a winning team like this. You need some easy buckets.

Actually, dreadful would be an improvement over what we've actually seen.

Sorry to say it but Gallo not looking like an NBA player. His jump shot has gone south and he doesn't do much else. He's looking like a D league type player.
