It's not easy trying to bring all the facets of running a team together and especially with a new roster!!! Despite the complaints Fish has kept the team together and working. They look like they're gelling now!
that's because the people who were saying fisher sucks are idiots. no coach is gregg poppovich in one year, two years or even 5 years. fisher needed patience and thats what phil has given him. even poppovich only won 17games in his first year.
I don't think you really know why he was criticized. It is not just the fact that his team only lost 17 games; it is his inability to set a rotation that was appalling. I don't know if it is Phil who told him to pick 10 guys or he will see the door, but since the Utah debacle, he has made a concerted effort t stick with 9 men. The problem with his rotation now is the fact that he is not using the same 9 or 10 players, but that is progress
seems to me like fisher is good at adapting to the teams the knicks are playing against and not that he's "confused" as to what players to play, as you would love to believe. although, i don't think you have enough bball iq to realize that.
You can disagree with my views without being disrespectful. You must be too much of an imbecile to know that. I don't agree with adapting to he other team lineup philosophy, which is why I have issues with him. If we are winning, it is all peachy dandy. Tonight, he used our front court to its full potential by running the offense from Carmelo to RoLo and KP. That is our strength and should forever be recognized as such. Our bigs see the floor nicely and can finish. They are long and can ball. Instead of wasting possessions by over dribbling, or downsize our rotation to match what the other teams are doing, we need to force other teams to matchup with us with Carmelo, KP,and RoLo.
