![]() Looking back...tanking is such a tricky topic.. I agree the Kinks were trying to win games all year but they didn't have the talent. The lineup Fisher used down the stretch was weak and by all rights should have lost. They just got "lucky" and hit a few shots unexpectedly. I can't crucify Fisher. You can't tell the players to purposely suck - they're fighting for their careers. The lottery really is a crapshoot. From what I heard, after Minnesota and the Lakers got the first 2 picks, the next draw went to the T-Wolves again. Only after it was drawn again did Philly get the 3rd pick. We had the 2nd highest probability and we still didn't get it. There are no guarantees - just have to accept the facts and move on.
If there is a star talent identified then they should take him..be it Winslow, Mudiay, WCS, or whoever. If they don't feel the talent is justified, then trade down and get multiple assets from this draft and 2016. Unless you know differently, you just have to trust their scouting and evaluations. What choice do we have? |

We limit our haul of players/picks by grabbing Towns this year. We add third and even fourth team to make it work out. Hey, a guy can dream big. |
