Damn I used to love "the fvck shop", that song was awesome.

I hope there is some sort of ploy to get Melo on Miami and it is already done. That would be tampering, and we'd get a ton of picks for it. Miami would have no picks for a long time and everyone would be old and with no help. Win-win

The precedent was already set in 2010 that friends can talk with each other about teaming up and the NBA can't really do anything about it

Tampering can only be done by basketball coaches and executives (and maybe agents, I'm not sure). Players discussing amongst themselves what they want to do is absolutely allowed.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

Yeah I think we agree
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

I would do the sign and trade. But I think I saw Toney Douglas being mentioned. ##puke##

Wouldnt they have to renounce Bosh and Wade, then they couldnt resign them correct? If not they have max cap holds

If its true that would leave Houston and Chicago...

The Miami Heat wants to keep its Big Three intact, but the Heat isn't interested in it becoming a Big Four with a max-contract player like Carmelo Anthony.

Heat president Pat Riley didn't close the door entirely on making a run at a player such as Anthony, who has been linked to the Heat because of his relationship with LeBron James and the fact that he is expected to opt out of his contract on Monday. However, when asked in general about adding a fourth mega-contract to a team that expects to return LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh for next season, Riley almost closed it entirely, calling it "a pipe dream."

"Everybody thought 2010 was a pipe dream," Riley said Thursday in Miami, referring to when the Heat landed the Big Three in free agency. "That's not where we're headed. It's a possibility. But we're not thinking about that today."

What they're planning on is for the Big Three to return, although James, Wade and Bosh can all leave on July 1 if they opt out of their deals. Bosh and Wade have said they want to return, while James has not committed to returning to the Heat for a fifth season.

"Whatever it takes to keep them together, we're ready for it," Riley said. "That's our objective. That's my push to them."

IMO adding melo to that roster would make no sense at all for the money they will have to shell out, they lack depth at every position.

You're right. They need better PG play. Maybe last season was an aberration for Chalmers, but they should look into getting help. Also need some help inside, rebounding really sunk them in the finals.

Birdman is supposed to be out the door. He took a paycut to get another ring, but now he wants to get paid. He was hurt for the playoffs, which might have affected his performance. If Birdman wasn't too much of a cap hit, I would see if we could bring him to NY. See if he still can produce.
