when did this turn into a "who cares" affair.. the question was, about the knicks so called resurgence.. I hardly call 3 or 4 wins vs some of the worst competition in the league a resurgence.. If you don't care about anything else., then yes, a win is a win, but if you do care, then be cautious about calling this a resurgence..

Yes mreinman, be careful about caring about Knick win streaks. Especially if your gamepicker has us at 0-82.

tkf, how's the delusion of 5-0 coming along?

TKF, now you supposedly are an astute basketball mind, shouldn't you be judging the Kniccks string of victories by "HOW THEY WON" not who they won against.

The body language and energy is similar how they played last yr , when you was yelling "TURN UP " lol

We have to keep winning- don't forget we have a horrific final 5 games:

at Heat
at Raptors
vs Bulls
then a back to back at Nets and vs Raptors

Maybe we have a shot if they are in rest mode, but I think the Nets make a point of trying to keep us out of the playoffs, and the Raptors will be battling for seeding, as will the Bulls.

The resurgence doesn't take games off, Woody has to keep coaching to win like it's his last game.

The less talent , the more Woody is forced to play who's hot and sit those that are not.

New Starting lineup didn't mean anything , the cohesion continues with bench role players.

Somebody made the entire team get professional, WHO HAS THAT KIND OF INFLUENCE ?

JR played a very good and efficient offensive game - nice to see that and hope to see more of that

his defense was pretty bad on green. he is usually a decent defender but he seemed over matched

so here is what phil is thinking ....

We had no coaching change and the team is playing like they care all of a sudden.

I have to think it's Melo's Influenceon the entire team moral.

Don't think thats it at all. They are playing awful team and we are not letting Felton and JR shoot us out of these games.

THJR getting his shot back is a biggie too.

Melo has not changed anything.

Then plz explain to me who could have this kind of influence, when there was no coaching change ?

Somebody stood up and told guys to stop playing selfish and cover for one another.

I thought they were playing poor to get Woody fired.... see Mike Danphoney

I thought it was a players league ?

All Woodson did was admit it was his fault for the team not performing right.

Did he get new players no, did he have Amare and Chandler no, then what is making the rest of the team so relaxed to play the right way.

Somebody gave the team an ultimatum.

I thought it was a players league ?

1. Chandler got punked by Bill Simmons - so fire ignited
2. Amare beasting
3. Felton taking far fewer shots
4. JR playing much better on both ends
5. THJ out of his shooting slump
6. PHUCKING COLE ALDRICH IS IN DA HOUSE!!

Dude who coordinated the uprising, I know who coordinated last years fantastic beginning it was Jason Kidd. He set the tone after getting busted for DUI before training camp. He came to camp serious and the team took his lead.

There is no coordination of any sort on this team. Those 6 points that I mentioned helped us beat some bad teams.

Would like to see us beat the Pacers next week.

You keep referencing wins, i'm talking about style of play , ball movement , less turnovers etc

Don't see much difference in the style. I do know that when players are hitting shots the ball starts to move more.

The second half yesterday there was zero ball movement.

I have not missed any games this year. Stat sheet certainly does not show everything. However, long term advanced stat have the best view into a players value.
