impressed with the team response tonight.

game isn't over, but you can see the team is motivated...particularly melo and jr

Another part of his game that goes under-appreciated. Bargs can move once he gets going. Just doesn't think like a basket protector. If i'm Woody I have to be on him about that every time he doesn't give help. I just don't see anyone saying anything to Bargs about his basekt protection.

They looked real flat to start, Felton and Prigs have done a good job so far.

Felton is either not healthy or just terrible.

we needed jr to be who he has been many nights for us last year...

not too many off nights (last game), but he also needs to get more games. this could be a good sign as i think he has more potential for growth, if he is willing.

This is why i'd like to see them use Murry for stretches. Just to see if he gives them a bit better defense at the point. I know it's hard to do with the rotation, but sometimes you've got to give it a little look just to see.

Huh?
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

I think the Knicks need to start trapping the high PnR especially when Antic is in. Also, when is Felton going to wake up?

A lot depends on Woody and his rotations. Gotta make sure he has solid rotations that make sense. When he plays the right guys the team has good balance and aggressiveness. This was one of his better rotations.

keeping the Ball and Player movement is a struggle it seems for some. It's up to Woody to make sure they are reminded to keep moving and passing the ball.

Scenario 1: Team moves the ball, KMart sets screen for Prigs off the ball, Prigs catches and shoots

Scenario 2: Melo drives, draws the defense kicks to MWP wide open in the corner

In both cases, players got good looks. Does scenario 1 keep the team as a whole more engaged and defenses off balance or is it the same damn thing?

Bargs often looks like he thought that it was someone else's assignment. Looks like he is still trying to figure things out but he is putting in the effort, for the most part. The entire team has been flat at times, not just Bargs.

Which is why it doesn't make sense to go after Kevin Love. All things being equal woudl you rather let Melo walk and go after Love just because Love is $5M cheaper, younger, better rebounder and outside shooter and will require less years?

Or is Melo's ability to create off dribble worth it?
