Yet the Pacers gave up a young prospect and a 2014 first rounder for Scola, and - WOW! That's also a great move Pacers! Also a viewpoint shared by some people on these boards who blast the Bargs trade for the same reason!

So Wp didn't rank Kidd as a top 3 point guard? They didn't think Ronnie Brewer was a bargain and the perfect Landry replacement and didn't suggest because of those two and Camby the Knicks would have a great season? I'm on my phone and don't feel like researching but I seem to remember wages of wins articles suggesting that.

Bottom line : this is a different year and different role for Bargs.

I'm sure they can defend that view if you ask them to (although you're exaggerating). It wouldn't be hard.

3) Draft picks --> Yawn....yeah, draft picks...right. We're the Knicks, remember?

JRodmc scours for redundant Melo threads, then redundantly repeats the redundant redundancy by redundantly repeating the redundant.

Nalod don't do Melo/Trade threads anymore, which this one morphed into.

Or, Trade proposal threads. Waste of time. If you want to be really entertained, check out Playa2 "Waynes World end of days" threads in the "Other" catagory! Those are a hoot!

Again Nalod you've been busted in your plan to

Sidetrack my facts with name calling and ridicule. This is also known as the primary attack the messenger ploy, though other methods qualify as variants of that approach. Associate opponents with unpopular titles such as “kooks”, “right-wing”, “liberal”, “left-wing”, “terrorists”, “conspiracy buffs”, “radicals”, “militia”, “racists”, “religious fanatics”, and so forth. This makes others shrink from support out of fear of gaining the same label, and you avoid dealing with issues.

Again? Did you just have deja vu in a redundancy thread?
I respond to almost all threads where you call me out by name, just to ensure you're getting the attention you crave.

And if you'd stop taking playa's url links so dead serious, you'd notice I'm already in and out of most of those threads. So redundant.

ok, but if Bargs is not a "steal", is he a terrorist? A "black flag" trade? Why would Toronto just "give him away"????

Distration? Maybe they did the trade so Melo fans can argue it? ANd while we are too busy arguing over Knicks Vs. Denver, the government just storms in and whisks us off to some camp in Indiana?

and what? Watch Hibbert biytchslap Tyson who is infected with some type of "flu" symptom?

Indy is now spending money? When knick fans are in concentration camps in the midwest will be be forced to get league passe? Or will we have to watch Pacer games? What if the camps are in Florida, can we choose between Orlando or Miami?

And where was cope all these years? Like Lee Harvey Oswald? Did he really go to "belgiam" to play ball?

Is AMare now under some "Zionist" spell?

Why are the knicks taking season tix deposits "Earlier" than in previous years?

Is there a UFO hidden BELOW Penn Station and they want to get it out by pretending to demolish the garden?

What window is Melo talking about? Is it some portal to another civilation in space on another planet?

Dwight Howard went to Houstan, LIke "Houstan we have a problem"? Thats where NASA is located!!!!! So why did he go? Who is he covering for?

Back on track!

“I think he’s more mature”

“I am 100 percent sure next year is going to be his year. He’s so happy about his new situation. He’s really happy to be in New York. Not anything against Toronto. The expectations are still there. He’s ready to take the challenge.”

- Team Italy’s associate coach Mario Fioretti

“My feeling is he already is an NBA star, he needed a different situation,” said Fioretti, a longtime coach for Olympio Milano. “The only thing he needs is a club where he can express himself.”

Magic Johnson brought Kareem out of his shell. Pablo Prigioni will do the same for Andrea.

He can learn defense from Ron Artest ("his momma named him Ron, Imma call him Ron!") in practice.

Piece of cake.

Neither plays awesome defense but can do what we lacked if on the court, but one is more marketable than the other.

So we go out and find another C/F who can do the same thing(who has more NBA experience) who's international flavor in Italy will sell more knicks Jerseys there and in NY. As knicks fans we must always look at the marketing plan 1ST AND FOREMOST,when it comes NYC big business mindset of James Dolan.

No, because he from Newark!!!!

Playa2 does not know that jersey sales don't go to the team. Look it up. Maybe Alex Jones can sell you Floride filters for your water while your there. Used to be a communist fear, now its the Illuminati? Or the devil?

The trade has little to do with marketing because bargnani is not charismatic at all, its about keeping up with the Nyet and the battle for NY.

They gave up a future asset in the 2016 pick which can be swapped. THis is also about keeping Melo engaged so he don't bolt next year in the event we screw the pooch! Its the play book we did to keep Ewing in town. Good enough to win and get to playoffs but not championship quality. Playa is right about that!

I doubt we did this in reaction to just Hibbert. Basically in the Playa2 scenario Tyson sits. I doubt that happens. If Tyson and Bargs on the floor Hibber stays with Tyson. We might not even face the Pacers in the playoffs so why make a trade for that scenario? We not paying 14mm for tyson to sit! If he does, Its the 100mm man (Amare) who plays. In I can see Mark west playing bargs. In any event Im not worried about pacers just yet.

Playa2 says "lets be real"? Maybe the only thing he said thats plausible was that Cope was from Newark, the rest is his attempt to talk hoop because if he keeps a high % of conspiracy vs his basketball output he'll get banned. Yeah, Im riding Playa2 these days.

UPSIDE!!! That's really what we're talking about here. We didn't bring in AB to just be a Scola type presence. We're trying to get him back on track to maximizing his full potential, which is far beyond Scola's level. You have to keep that in mind when you bring in a player like AB.

JR was doing well up until that elbow. After that he went on to play like sh**. Since I know Woodsons gonna continue to be enamored with him next season, all I can hope for is that JR stays focused.

just random footage of a game between the nuggets and Toronto, when melo and kmart were in Denver....its interesting.

It just shows the potential the Knicks could have by adding this guy....he's might not be a superstar or an all-star....but he is a starting caliber player. When you add starting talent to your team....you got better.
