Gunsnewing stop hatin. you've been hatin all through this thread. You are starting to sound like TKF and that other one. Give it a rest man.

Now we have a chance to put a roster on the floor that is much deeper and younger. Still veteran, but not as ancient as last year. This roster has a lot more upside as well. I frankly don't know why so many Knicks fans are disappointed or down on this team. It's actually going to be the BEST Knicks team we've had since the last finals team. This is a GOOD TEAM if you look at it without the jaded Knicks fan glasses. There are only a few teams in the league with a legit chance to win a title so it's not like we should look down our noses at this team because it's not the odds on favorite to win a title. That may be the case, but they do in fact have a chance to make the finals. It's not like the chances are ZERO. We've had those kinds of teams before and this team isn't one of them.

Like every Knicks fan I wish this team was perfect but it's not. No team in the NBA is perfect, tho the Spurs and Heat are much closer to that than the Knicks. Neither of those teams is the Magic Lakers, Bird Heat or Jordan Bulls. That to me means that the Knicks have a chance to win. I'm going to enjoy this season. ENJOY THE RIDE!

Nixluva We just ain't used to having a season like last year and some of us get a little crazy because we don't want to go back. I like the positive spin you are putting on this and I hope you are correct.

I agree with everything except your second issue. Every Knick on the opening day roster played a significant role or was in the rotation for a significant amount of games except for Camby. I do think Woodson had his guys and relied on them more when they were healthy but most coaches have a rotation with guys not in it.

I just can't ignore the fact that Woody knew Melo, JR, Tyson and Kidd were worn down and didn't use his bench. Woody kept making that mistake and I'm hoping he won't have to worry about who to play with so much talent now. IMO there won't be any bad options on the bench. The more talent you give a coach the better. With the depth we have Woody has no excuse not to use it and keep the team fresh for the playoffs.
