Yeah but come on dude, this guy never played like a #1 overall pick, even when completely healthy in his heyday...You think Amar'e's a bad rebounder -- you know what this guy's career rebounding average is? 4.8 rpg. That's crazy man. Wow, under 5 rebounds a game! This guy's 7' 260!! Not a great defender either. And he got booed right off the court this past year in Toronto. How do you think our fans will feel about him when they see the soft offensive game, no rebounding and no defense at 7'? For Camby, Novak and a 2nd round pick (maybe 2 future 2nd rounders) it would've been a reasonable trade. To include a 1st rounder for this guy is overkill.
And also, this trade makes zero sense if they really are trading Chandler too and don't get back proper value. We really need to get back something decent for Chandler -- no idea what that could be if this hypothetical deal is with the Warriors...D-Lee, Draymond Green and a pick would be cool. Or something revolving around Bogut maybe?? Could we get that for Chandler?? Rumor has it that there might be a 3rd team involved...Still trying to confirm.
