The problem (my problem) is trying to win arguments, which I used to try to do. Now, if/when I post, it's to drop my thoughts and move on. Don't let it suck you in. What you, me or anyone else thinks about sports really isn't that big a deal.

Guns, I've enjoyed hearing your thoughts. I'll miss them. But do what ya gotta do.

great to see ya blue and i couldn't agree more with your post.. been doin the same thing myself.

Dude, why are you being so dramatic?

well, I for one appreciate and respect his honesty. Also, probably inane pots like this that added fuel to the fire.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

The answers are in the games, not the opinion.

Give guns his due. Last time he retired he stayed retired for years.

miss that wry sense of humor bbj - good to see ya.

Guns made the smart call by making an "announcement" he holds himself accountable for his exile. Otherwise you come right back.

Thats what I usually do. I bolt for a few days let a few threads run out then return.

But, I learned to not argue redundancy. I sometimes don't heed my own advice. I try.

This is the only Site I visit and contribute.

Same here..., not suite since I lurk at BBI...., but started lurking at the rockets forums and just did not like the posters there. Very realgm like.

I try to contribute here on threads that interest me. If I get attacked personally then I just ignore the poster.

gunsewing - I see your point and respect you. Hope you come back soon. I like intelligent adult conversations.

pierce's footwork was magnificent during his 4-18 performance.

I hope he enjoys his new fishing rod.

Hopefully, the fish will bow to him.

This is an exciting year but there's also a lack of problems and drama for fans to bitch about when you're winning. I guess winning is the plague of a sports forum?

There will be very few Jeremy Lin remorse articles this week.

Then again, facing Zach Randolph or David Lee could get interesting.

Just imagine facing Nate the Suddenly Great? Oh the humanity!

Think freeing thoughts.

I retire every single weekend, and unretire every Monday (that I don't have off).
I can't imagine not getting paid to post here. No offense, martin and andrew.

I do go over to Nets Daily for the articles and don't know if they even have any forums to chat about.

And I get Playboy for the articles!

he's an nba champion, an nba finals mvp, and a first ballot hall-of-famer. it's just silly not to give a great player his due, just as it's mean-spirited to single out one game to try and make a point about his footwork. but like i said you be you.

Good post.. I agree.. I just don't get it sometimes.. fans feel to give another player credit is to disown your team... and that is just not the case.. Pierce is fun to watch, especially if you like the small details... the guy is great out there when it comes to the small details of the game..

I've missed you too, and I usually find myself in agreement with your positions. You're one of the more neutral and open minded guys out there.

It would be great if you and the old timers I miss like BBJ, Bip, DJ, Marv, Killa, Evil, PresIke, et al, were still posting. But truth be told for myself, I don't even have strong opinions anymore. Just watching and seeing how it plays out it.

I still root hard for the team and despise every loss, but I don't really feel emotionally involved with the players. I "like" them, but there's no one I love the way I loved Oakman, Starks, Mason, etc, and maybe there never will be. But that's why I do understand discontented guys like tkf, Bocker, etc. When the team trades away the few guys you really identified with for guys you don't, it's tough, and it can be a long road back to emotional involvement.

These new knicks still got to earn our trust, when they do our hearts and minds will follow.

see we mention bip and then he remembers his post-count and starts triple posting

last year when linsanity hit and all these new members joined up (which is a GREAT thing btw) is when i think i finally really lost my interest in voicing my own opinions on here. i was already kinda getting there, but that was definitely it for me. talking with all those people quickly became a waste of time because they only saw lin, no flaws in his game and it was like talking to a wall 99% of the time.

still love talkin hoops the guys you mentioned and maybe if i saw a bunch come back and creating good discussion, i'd probably end up doing the same again myself. we hardly even have get-togethers anymore!
